Today we will take a look at the Space65 R3. Gray Studio made some modern updates to this iconic design. They changed to a gasket mount and utilized internal screws for a clean look. Also, they made some minor design changes. Overall this board is FANTASTIC! This right now is my favorite 65% that I personally own right now. Awesome intro and build montage, very well done. Board does look and sound great and I wouldn't mind the extra steps for the mid case assembly as the advantages it brings are more important. It's a shame its a pricey and limited gb availability, the keyboard space could greatly benefit from having kits like this readily available and a bit more affordable but hey, great quality comes at a cost for those willing to invest. this will be my first ever keyboard purchase. i really love this keyboard. the colors are absolutely phenomenal thats for sure. the quality seems to be very high as well. what would be better as a first buy this or the zoom 65? if i buy this keyboard its getting the same gmk mitolet keycaps. you paired that together so well damn good job. its as if they were meant for each other. i really liked the b roll as well as it gives you a sense of what it really looks like in person. which is beautiful, i think im going to go w the same pom plate. i will be putting cannonkeys lavender switches in mine though. i really like the sound of those switches alot. durock pom is also an option. again this will be my first ever build so any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

After seeing this video I'm seriously considering getting the space65 in this purple. That shade of purple is the color I've always wanted in my custom keyboard, ever since I saw the mammoth 75, but I didn't get that as I wanted a 65%. I currently own and use a Mode65 (lilac) as my daily driver. Your coverage of the QK65 convinced me to get it in the same color way as in the video as I was struggling to decide whether to get that or the Zoom65 (bluetooth), and later whether in blue/gold or silver. That board will replace my keychron Q2 as my entry level gasket mount board. Now I see a board that's in my favorite color, form factor, and is actually worthy of being my endgame mid/high tier priced gasket mount keyboard. I don't know how it could be any better than that! @@parkersgarage4216 quality is def better on the Space I think. It’s really just more aesthetically pleasing for me than most other boards. Sound quality wise, just search KZbin for Space65 R3 or the other boards to see what other KZbinrs have to say or complain about the specific boards. It’s all preference on what you like better. For the money the QK65 is a top contender being under 200. Clackbait has done a few videos on the QK65. Also check out Alexotos, shoobs, nearlucid videos on each of the boards.

Beautiful production on this video of yet another beautiful board. The gasket design is pretty clever, giving essentially socks and more standard gasket options in one.
