Fried egg and a lamb chop missing. One grievance I have with many cafe and restaurant menus is where it states “grilled tomato” I expect a whole tomato ie 2 halves not one half, if I’m only getting half a tomato at least I should have the option of choosing the left, right, top or bottom half 😂

But in answer to your question as to why I should have the option to choose which part of the tomato 🍅 I should have well that should be obvious, I’m paying for it. If you should ever get bored or have nothing to do try working on your sense of humour as you don’t appear to have much if any 👍

I’d say that meal was alright, but the mix was a bit sparse. It really did need an egg or two perhaps even poached, a small piece of liver would have been nice to see , maybe as an optional addition and pineapple really should be on top of the gammon, but in my opinion the one item that it was sinful to have omitted was a couple of pieces of black pudding. There is a case for some other vegetables such as carrots or peas, to give a nod to the healthy eating mafia and a slightly wider choice of potato dishes some roasted potatoes or a jacket spud would be a nice touch maybe even a couple of those mini baked potatoes filled with garlic butter .

Nice one Deano!... That looked like a cracking mixed grill mate... If they swapped those fries for proper home made chips... Deep fried in beef dripping... With large juicy Portobello mushrooms... And a runny fried egg... That would've been an incredible mixed grill mate.😋

Great video, lovely food. I have discovered I have a Sizzling pub near me in York so I might give it a try, so thanks for the sound review. Am I right in assuming you are using a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (Creative Combo) for your filming - the DJI Mic2 is a great addition. Both the camera and the mic have received firmware updates in late May 24.

Didn't see it on the menu but in the ultimate plates they used to do gammon egg pineapple chips think it had onion rings but it was gorgeous and only £9.99 I love the sizzling pubs, but my ultimate chain pub is the flaming grill pubs, I believe they come under greene king pubs chain but oh my what a meal they serve up and really reasonably priced.

Never understood why they only give you half a tomato, better to have two halves. Also a chargrilled pineapple ring would have been nice alongside your gammon to cut through the salty meat. IMO chips beat fries everyday of the week. The only question I have is, if yuowalked to the pub, why not have a beer, especially if you sign up to their app, you get it for free? Great food, great days!
