To answer to the "thoughts leak" of Flats, I think people use "content creator" as a slur because a lot of memey playstyles came from content creators. The no shield challenge challenge on Reinhardt, pewpew only Mercy, unranked to GM without a HUD, etc... Thing is, a lot of people get influenced very easily and will think that if their favorite content creator managed to rank up to GM by binding Reinhardt's charge on W or whatever the meme was from the video, they can do it too. The result is very average players want to replicate the meme playstyle of the video they saw and throw the games of a lot of people, thus, people use the "content creator playstyle" as a slur. I am just theorycrafting here, I might be wrong, but I still think it's a pretty reasonable hypothesis

They use it cuz content creators would sometimes do these challenges and obviously fail sometimes too which would undoubtedly ruin the experience for normal players on that game that are no in on it, even if they were they didn't want this, they just wanna play the game even if its unranked quick play, in this context the content creator only did this for themselves and his audience (lets be honest here, doing it for their audience basically means doing it for themselves) which is selfish and so comes the hate. They just wanna play the game.. Obviously this doesn't happen all the time but someone facing this multiple times might just end up hating content creators all along or this kind of stuff, which i wont say is unjustified fully, as I do understand it.

Regarding the full moon thing. I used to believe it was superstition, but then I worked as a CNA in a hospital for 2 years. . . . Full moons always had much more chaos. The whole "Q word" superstition is just a superstition, but night shift on full moons was real weird dam near every time.

Someone already covered it, but a lot of the time you see these ''challenges'' from content creators that have just been playing so long they need some other way to have fun or ''just for content'' so they do like no healing challenges, no hud, no shield Rein etc. So the assumption soemone playing in a goofy way is a content creator in Overwatches case anyway can be kinda valid. As for everything else, i think people see content creators as like the ''mayors of media'' almost, and think they all just have this power over the masses to influence them to their way of thinking. And dont get me wrong, people are sheep, but thats my guess on the animosity.

Sometimes the healing passive is so useless for me because i play around health packs ...by the time it kicks in, im already at a health pack.... sometimes ill take damage just to put the health packs on cool downn so they're not available for flankers and the regen ruins that plan a good amountbof times

I'm so glad I quit this game. Overwatch classic almost brought me back for the actual game I originally signed up for, but the missing loot boxes is still too annoying. Their greed is awful and I'll never call him Cassidy. Jesse McCree was the guy with the gun and the flashbang. Blizzard died a long time ago.

Look i had many intrusive thoughts when people quote say the healers aren't healing of going oh I can show you not healing if that's what you think that's happening. Guess that healing number is fake or I very specifically decided not you. Even more so if its only the one person complaining. Not one else is complaining about the heals. There are a bunch of twitch streamers who are smurfing that like to pitch their twitch channel during the game. So it's either content where they demolish the other team or do nothing and watch their team lose so they can have enteraining in game comment for the stream. I feel lie a lot of "content creator" are there for there for show. the example like when I play Dead by Daylight, there is a lot of twitch player that want to loop by the killer or do a "flash save".
