I lost my job last June and it took me nine months to find the job I currently have. *TRIGGER WARNING* I'm not a POC but I am a child of abuse and neglect. I was consistently told that I was unwanted and I was a mistake and intrusion and imposition in my mother's life. Losing hope because I am unhappy in this country, I want leave my job and go back to my home country but ive been applying to remote jobs and not getting any feedback. I want to be free. I want the digital nomad lifestyle so i can go back home but travel around while working. Every fiber in me has been screaming at me to quit but the prospect of unemployment especially as im still paying for my last year in uni. Is preventing me from taking that leap. I have been doing the work, i have been praying and sending out cvs, been releasing and cleansing but i am losing hope. Ive only been awaken for 4 months after a traumatic and painful breakup and this has been a tiring and tumultuous journey. I had to cut off friends here because of how my body has been showing physical rejection in their presence. I feel alone, like im disconnected and abandoned. But i have been trying my damnest best to keep my faith when all i get towards the goal i want is rejection. I understand being open and i am but i dont want and offer that would keep me stuck in an office. I want to be free, to be in nature and to explore. I dont wanna be stuck in this desert anymore.
