This might not be the "mind blowing OP" meta, but if it still works, it works. At least its different meta. I've been taking a break from aoe4, seeing a new meta for my fav civ. I'll definitely come back to aoe4 to test this out.

I really like this new potential style, i guess i have to learn how to use archers lol. Although it feels like it’s reliant on denying heavy gold, which can be troublesome and dangerous for chinese feudal units. I could definitely see it as a potential cook into hre fast castle. I really like how this just adds more to the flexible of chinese strategy.

5:15 I think a bigger reason that you don't go Zhu Ge Nu is that you can't actually build them without song dynasty.

Tell that a pro, lol. No man zhu genu are heavy on gold and food. Also archers are fast walking and strong against spears. And they dont get countered by longbows, instead, they counter them.

I always said that once China player start forgetting about going song dynasty, they will be insanely unbalanced. The way you can sink 600res into a dynasty and still be ready to fight other civ with similar numbers just proves this. Turns out spending 600res into straight military is OP! Especially with the fact that once china is leading the game it's impossible to catch up because of them being able to 2TC song and their overall insane eco and also that the only way to kill china was to starve them out of food which doesn't happen if you have map control.

Thanks Vald, this looks great! I tried this out today and it seems u actually dont need any vils on Gold at all if u just have 1 imp official gathering Gold automatically at all times. Then u can macro exactly like Delhi. I'm just wondering tho if its also good to start off with horsemen first, what do u think?

Had a game last night where I didn’t gather any gold at all, and during 12 mins I still got 2100 gold from taxes. To answer you question, you can open horsemen if it makes sense in the matchup.

As I China/Zhu Xi enjoyer I really like the new Idea. But I am also a bit concerned If the enemy has like 12 -14 sheep. that should be enough to spam out enough mma after a castle rush or am I wrong?

Because it's worst than the meta? All these kek builds are not optimal usually.. people dont play china 2tc song on ladder because its really hard to pull off at a good timing and do the proper adjustments depending on the matchup

Awesome video! Would you say you should only play this style if you’re going super all-in? It just seems like the longer you delay the song dynasty the opponent has effectively killed a villager than you would have otherwise of had after X amount of time. So it seems like if you don’t get some sort of eco damage dealt, your opponent should be happy?

If you try to just kill them usually, try to deny their food sources and force a farm transition.
