I think the mistake they made with LA Knight was actually giving him a title shot too early and having him lose in the same way 90% of Romans challengers have. In my opinion they should have held off and had him lose in a different way (i.e. not just the usual Uso/Solo interference) or get a DQ win like Rollins did at the 2022 Royal Rumble

i agree with the feeling that LA Knight feels like he’s lost some hype due to his booking since the roman feud. i think they can easily get him back up there by allowing him to have a solid performance on the rumble. coming in early on and making it to the final 4 before eventually being tossed out. then at Mania have him go against Logan Paul for the US Champion. he gets the big win and that could buy him some time until money in the bank so he can win the briefcase

I don't really like the sound of that because Cody and Rock have completely different stories to tell with Roman. Cody has his own very personal story with Roman surrounding the championship, whereas Rock's story with Roman is all about tribal status. So imo it doesn't really make sense to make it a triple threat and kinda undermines both stories.

Rock vs Roman vs Cody at WrestleMania, Cody winning is the perfect way to complete his story because you got Cody beating not only Roman and ending his 4 year title reign but also The Rock who is a certified legend in the WWE. And the stories and emotion included in that match would make it more interesting: Roman and his championship run, Rock going against Roman for the Head of the Table and Cody’s story to win the WWE Championship for Dusty.

the reason roman was undefeated for so long was because wwe didn't trust anybody in the roster to be the next face guy of the company, thats the whole point, I thought la knight could use it to get to megastar status, but he is in his 40s, has a good 4 years in him, cody can last like 10 years, so give the status to him, and let him lead wwe for the next years, and roman is approaching the end of his tenure anyways, so him losing the title means he won't show up on television much anymore, so people using him as a guy for another storyline makes no sense, this his last run

To get your Hollywood Cena/NWO, it’s gotta be Cena/Orton/Batista with Batista and Cena both representing the Hollywood contingent. All 3 have incredible history together (OVW) and could basically run an invasion angle on everyone for months, causing chaos - they try to take them down with Lesnar, he flips and joins them. Even though it’ll never happen now with HHH’s health, you could do an 8 man tag match with Rock, HHH, Austin coaxed out of retirement joining forces with Punk to basically have the 3 biggest AE stars and the 5 biggest RA era stars in the same ring.

Absolutely not. The Main Event belongs to Cody, and Cody alone. If they do a triple threat, it will just confuse the crowd as to who to root for, and even if Cody wins, it wouldn't feel as special. And did EVERYONE forget how bad it got when part-timer Rock dethroned a long reigning champion back in 2013??? Rock dethroning Roman does nothing for anybody. Rock is already a made man who I'd be surprised would stick around longer than a month, deflates Roman's aura by looking like "this 'megastar' is still nothing when compared to Attitude Era greats", and no new face of the company would be definitively established if Cody (or even Jey) doesn't come out triumphant. I can't stress this enough: The Rock dethroning Roman Reigns would be THE WORST POSSIBLE OUTCOME. If this match happens, Roman has to go over, and if Roman is going over, it's at Elimination Chamber, cuz I personally can't take another year of his reign.

The best case scenario is WM MAIN EVENT TRIPLE THREAT: with Rock being the hero, Cody being the anti-hero(tweener) and Roman the heel, plus Cody won't be able to pin Roman clean and fight off Solo and Jimmy. Would be an interesting storytelling, but I hope they go with the triple threat match. Cody vs Roman already happened last year, it would be boring as hell. I like the idea of the rock beating Roman but imma make a couple of tweaks so you really get the best out of this situation. Roman losing to rock clean isn’t good for the mania match so I say you have Jimmy slowly manipulate solo and Roman start to treat solo bad. This leads to solo and Jimmy aligning with the rock and screwing Roman out of the title. Jimmy can then go on to fight jey at mania and Roman goes on to blame the rock for turning solo against him. Do the triple threat at mania and then Roman goes away for a little. Then at summerslam you can do the Cody and Randy since Randy is still hot and Roman comes back for summerslam to fight solo for screwing him at elimination chamber. Then you can finally pull the trigger on Roman v Cody at survivor series and then you have your big 4 ple’s covered for this year.

Nah this is terrible. The Rock ending the reign wouldn’t make…any sense. And neither does Cody pinning the Rock. He should dethrone Roman at Mania, have a rematch at Backlash, and then feud with Orton ending until Summerslam. WWE has to calm down with the long term *TITLE* booking. Every match doesn’t need to be saved for Wrestlemania. Especially when it means keeping the belt on a guy for a whole year. Is Cody V Orton a Mania level match? Of course. I honestly don't want The Rock to become a part-time champion again, once is enough. What would be a good idea is for The Rock to challenge Roman for the seat at the head of the table and become the tribal chief himself at Mania. That would made sense since The Rock won't obviously be available every week. Randy however has to win the Fatal 4 Way, so that Cody would challenge Randy at Mania and win it there, hence CM Punk also has to win at Royal Rumble, so that he can challenge the current World Champion at Mania.

Rock beats Roman at EC Why? People forget there's another title that Roman holds. The title of the Tribal Chief. The person who dethroned Roman will also take that title away from him, and Cody does not fit the bill to take that title away from Roman. If anyone does, it's The Rock. Moving forward. Rock doesn't need to wrestle until the main event of Mania. Rock Vs Roman Vs Cody. Cody then wins that match and takes the title. Still leaves two feuds open.
