The guy in the civil war, Anton van der Laaken, was the leader of the Indonesian branch of the NSB. This branch mostly had members of mixed Dutch-Indonesian descent, as van der Laaken himself. There is not much info on the guy otherwise, I just found it a while ago on an Indonesian website.

Not gonna lie, my favourite thing about HOI4 is the alternate history niche minor nations. I played many times as released minors (e.g. Cambodia, Micronesia, literally anything), maybe buff them up with some cheats (yeah I'm totally normal). I like the flags too.
