16:10 one of the twilight books did that EXACT scenario, with Alice (who could see the future) predicting what moves Edward would make and Edward (who could read minds) picking her counter plays out of her brain as she came up with them. They mostly just kinda sit there going back and forth in their heads, barely making any actual moves. the game abruptly ends a few turns in because Alice foresees the opening moves playing out to result in an inescapable situation and just surrenders.
