I know no one asked but I just wanted to announce that I have finally saved enough and bought a switch oled. I realized yesterday when I brought it home and was loading my games onto it that I can have a new island 🥳. I got burnt out playing AC and my main island has been since launch and its a disaster. Cleaning it is a daunting task that i procrastinate doing. Starting a new island really let me enjoy the game as it was meant to be especially since all the content has been added back so I have lots of things to do during the day especially with the dlc. I'm playing very relaxed, I didn't restart for different island layouts just picked one from the first provided. Didn't restart for different starting villagers or fruit (I got cherries so I was happy anyways). I say this because I think you definitely should play relaxed and not rush to create beautiful designs (although you are very talented at it). Ac was always fun as a day to day thing where you enjoy the little things. We'll enjoy just watching you play and the point is to have fun so if you feel like you're getting burnt out then play as you like or even try new games for us. There are games like Story of Seasons: Pioneers of olive town, Yonder Cloud Catcher Chronicles, My time at Portia, Stardew Valley, Hokko life (pc), Rune Factory 5, and even different types of games like Kirby or Pokemon Legends would be fun to watch you play through as well. Everyone gets bored playing the same game for years, most of us may have found you because of AC but that doesn't mean you can't try different things. P.s thought it was cute when you had your bf clean up your island for you. It gave me an idea and I actually had my husband pick up weeds for me on my new island for a little while but then he got distracted and just started catching bugs and shoving shells in his pockets lmao he handed it back once his pockets were full he was like "it won't let me pick up more stuff" 😑😂

I can’t believe it took me four months to realize we have the same island map!!!! I also play hardcore with very minimal terraforming, only moving water and ground slightly to adjust for inclines and bridges. Super cool to see what you’ve been doing with your space and how you’re visualizing it!
