Filippe's facial expressions are priceless...think about it..this young guy watching "us" older women..fixing our faces,talking about clothes and wrinkles and hair..it must be like he is having an "outer body experience" just wondering.."Is that really what they do"??Hysterical...OK..on a serious note..you are an influencer..there are more of "us" then young people..BUT!!When you are sent things following up weeks after use is essential..we really want to know if they have any effect..I have spent thousands purchasing facial devices and clothes and skin care BECAUSE of older influencers..so follow up Jo..we KNOW you are honest..go for it!AND WE WANT you to talk about your neck your eyes your hair everything that effects you because we are here because of that we CAN relate..speak for us!! I’ve came back on because I’ve summoned up the courage to just say that your vlogs have helped me so much. I had ovarian cancer in my late 30s and went right into menopause. I couldn’t get HRT. My body started changing so much. I got so lost in trying to find out who I was as a women, what to wear etc etc I gave up a bit. I watch you with your pretty dresses and your laughter lines and think I can do that. I’ve a collection of cotton dresses so found confident to wear them again. I know we are going through terrible times at the moment but we also need some fun things to keep our spirits up. It’s ok to talk about aging. It should be talked about then it won’t be so scary for those that are plummeting towards it😂😂. I feel better, my husband is whistling and I have you to thank for it. Thank you 🙏❤️

At the end of the day Jo you should only worry about what you feel - whether that is which hairstyle you want to try, or trialing beauty gadgets! I went to Korea in October and had a face and neck lift. Amazing results not that expensive and it works. Just do it! All the products and devices in the world will not tighten the loose skin in your neck or face. You can have Botox in the bands of your neck but that only lasts about 3-4 months.

Seeing Filippe and his expressions had me laughing. By the way, I really think that your hair length looks great on you. It just needs some styling. And yes, these are strange times, but I love your honesty about these products and what you are doing. Despite the crazy things that are going on and how serious the issues are, we still have to find ways to take care of ourselves. And as we get older, that requires a bit more work. So I really appreciate that you candidly discuss more age appropriate beauty issues. I do on occasion enjoy watching a good younger blogger talk about beauty, but it’s not always useful information for me.

Honestly the reason I started watching your channel was because you talked about things you were observing or wondering about, based on your experiences and current life situation. That connected with my own experience at the time as a 61 year old woman interested in similar things. I’m less engaged when you only talk about and show purchases or things that you are sent but I know others seem to appreciate that content. I guess if you’re splitting your vlogs into a couple of different themes based on the day of the week you’re covering both types of content.

I have a pixie cut & i think it makes me look younger!!!!I i think a pixie cut will really suit u but if ur not sure have a really short bob & then decide......i love all the stuff u show us & things u use & are sent......my neck had gone wrinkly in lockdown i don’t know if its age,menopause or the way i’m sleeping!!!!! Hi Jo! First off - Felipe is SO good, he had the image of your wearing the LED mask on the screen way before you suggested it! Also, his hair looks amazing - GO Felipe !! 👍🏻 Next, I wanted to say I applaud your sussing out how brands and products LATCH onto KZbin vloggers as they watch for comments asking about brands and where such and such was found, etc. I make it a point to not engage in asking or volunteering what I wear and where I found things I wear, and have always been this way before the invention of KZbin and the internet. My thinking is that there are far too many "clones" about as it is ... 🙄 And finally, you are thoughtful and considerate to include a disclaimer in case some may think you are being frivolous worrying about wrinkles during these challenging times. I agree, it is important to pamper ourselves and no one has the right to judge; I would like to add, though, that I support only cruelty-free products, and living sustainably. 🙏

Thanks for showing the new gadget, would be good to see if it works! Don’t worry about subject matter of your vlogs.. it helps to take our minds off current situ. Normality is much craved! I treated myself to the new Chanel Soleil bronzing cream after noticing that you use it in uour ‘no make up’look, even though everything i read said it wouldn’t suit my Asian skin, but after using it I love it! It’s not a bronzer really,’it just gives a glow and you can wear without foundation, with just a bit of concealer..which is great during lockdown. Looking forward to Sunday. Have a good week. X

Great outfit! I cut my hair last week to a chin length bob with no layers but slightly shorter at the front and angled longer in the front. I tend to let it go longer to the top of my shoulders in the winter, but it's an easy style to maintain. Having had a pixie for years when I was younger, I can tell you it would take at least a year and a half to grow it out all one length, so it is a commitment. Please during covid, do not share your device.

Before I knew what this blog was about I was thinking that your skin looks great and wondered what skincare products you were using. It will be interesting to see how your new gadget works, I’m very early 50s and have had a creapy neck for the last 5 years (thanks mum!) and it’s a real bugbear. Dear Jo, as a woman who has never ever had long hair due to its breakage, my go to hair cut is a pixie cut. It highlights bone structure, which you have and is a very feminine cut. Tbh, life is short and hair will grow, go on give it a go, pretty damn sure with your petite frame and good bone structure you’ll look amazing.
