I've been watching your channel for a while now and I would see you feature high horsepower vehicles in the UK and I knew you just had to get over to the States to see some of the cars and tuners over here. Well, you made it and what do you think? Freaking madness isn't it! What really gets me is not just the horsepower numbers, but also the engineering that goes into it. And not just cars. I've seen some absolutely bonkers diesel pick-up trucks with staggering torque numbers, extreme high horsepower 4 wheelers, and even snowmobiles that will out run a lot of fast cars. We're just as obsessed with speed over here as anywhere else. I here that they're pretty crazy about extreme vehicles and crazy engineering over in Australia also. I've been looking for channels to see what's going on down under. Keep up the journey. Your channel is the shit!

Soo...always wondered on the roll races. So it's NOT a race to the finish line between both cars? It's just a personal MPH speed battle? Or how does it work? Why does right lane have to "keep pace"?

Sorry I should have explained, qualifications are based on your trap speed so not a race as such, that determines what class you compete in based on how fast your car runs.. after qualifying the knock outs are first to cross the line 👍🏽

@@OutsideDuhBox they did brackets this year cause the tunners were bringing such an array of fast cars that the top cars would be a class of like 30 cars or so, so they then said E8 class is the fastest qualifiers out of all of them aka the cars that do 215-230mph in qualifying, the other cars are unlimited class and so forth. That's why last years second place car in the light fury GTR ran in unlimited instead of the elite 8, something MANY people don't seem to understand is that these races are not linear in acceleration, meaning a car can have a slower ET but higher MPH and still get to the finish first and vice versa, here is a example Car A out accelerates Car B in certain zones of the run and wins the entire race even though it's ET was slower, this is why the 60-130mph times and 100-mph to 200mph times are so important cause for example the GTRs accelerate so fast from 65mph to 170mph but drop off from 170-210mph vs the Vipers(midrange) and Lambo's(Top end) A Perfect run is when both cars are equal up until the midrange/top end but rarely will that be possible with the resistance these cars face etc.
