Hey thanks for asking! That's a great question, as I didn't really cover it in my video. It's actually really easy and similar to the particle command. All of the below can live in a single repeating command block. First, I use the execute at command to target the armor stand. The command varies for traveling in the X direction vs Z direction (I called X Horizontal and Z vertical for some reason :D) Then I run an execute positioned command to set the bottom corner of a selection area. Last, I call the effect give command on the area that defines my effect wall. Here's the X direction. /execute at @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,tag=VaporWallHorizontal] run execute positioned ~0.5 ~7 ~-25 run effect give @a[dx=2,dy=5,dz=50] minecraft:instant_damage 2 10 And Here's the Z direction /execute at @e[type=minecraft:armor_stand,tag=VaporWallVertical] run execute positioned ~-25 ~7 ~0.5 run effect give @a[dx=50,dy=5,dz=2] minecraft:instant_damage 2 10

At 13:49 can't you use the fill command to change it to an unlit redstone torch or is that only on bedrock version of Minecraft? (And it will also take however many ticks you set until it reaches the end so I guess it doesn't work just a theory though)

It’s kind of possible but not as granular as you’re hoping. Particles have a few parameters that control how much they spread in the x,y, and z. Legitimoose has a good tutorial on it!
