Watching this Arg is like a chore. Its like the creator can only think of binary every single video with no actual lore behind it, only "spooky scary text" just so the videos are counted as "Arg". Binary binary everywhere. Its like the stereotype for Arg except its not a joke and for real.

First off, I will say that I LOVE your videos. I've been binge watching them. Second off, I am sorry for a really long comment expressing my thoughts about things- I read a comment on this video that talks about how Minecraft ARGs, this like one, tend to not be as scary due to them trying to be overly scary. I think that's the down fall for a LOT of horror projects in general. Lots of them attempt to be scarier then they are, which leads to them to being lack luster. I, personally, don't find things like flashing lights or loud noises to add onto the experience of horror. Of course, I attempt to give people the benefit of the doubt because sometimes these can be people's first projects so I don't treat them the same as people who may have created multiple projects but haven't grown. One of my personal favorite Minecraft horror series (I'm not sure if it falls under ARG, forgive me) is "Don't Look At The Moon." (DLAM for short) The reason I love it is because it takes us outside of Minecraft. It's Minecraft horror, yes, but we aren't strictly tied to the game which allows for more creativity. I feel like something some of these Minecraft horror projects can benefit from is allowing us more time to see the characters' reactions to things happening. In DLAM, we get to see how the character is reacting to everything, and is eventual mental decline. He becomes obsessed with the moon, not just in Minecraft but in real life, causing people to worry about him in his life. This ARG felt like it was trying to hit a checklist of everything other channels do, which doesn't make it sound out and also ruins anything that could be interesting in the video. The characters in this game don't leave us with much to actually latch onto, not matter how badly ARG Analyst tried to (and they did good on following the story lol). Having a character be someone who murdered someone isn't always a bad idea but my question is WHY is Jake haunting Minecraft to get back at David? Wouldn't it be easier to haunt his actual house? Why was Mike dragged into this if Jake was only angry at David? Why did Mike never hear of Jake before hand if he was murdered by David? I find it hard to believe that he wasn't reported missing then pronounced dead by news outlets. Yes, David moved but we aren't told how far. The characters give off the feeling of being middle schoolers, so maybe he just moved into a different area and had to switch schools. I just felt like a lot was left open and things were executed poorly. There is room for improvement, of course. I do think the creator can make something incredible in the future if they workshop their skills a bit. I adore writing (if you couldn't tell) so I know it can be hard to make something that feels polished enough to release so they did definitely did something I wouldn't have the confidents for so props to them.

Thank you for this feedback! I don't know if you have watched my video on "The DECAYED" yet but I suggest you watch it. It tells a much greater story than just a player haunting a world. It has a much greater in depth story at hand and it is by far my favorite thing I've ever covered. This ARG was much more lackluster than some of the others I covered.
