24:06 The Abbasid caliph is a mechanic added by europa expanded, basically it gives a local modifier in the province the caliph is in (starts in cairo) and the owner of the province gets some unique diplomatic capabilities (its like being papal controller) you can steal the caliph by sieging down the province he is in. if you have the caliph, and the province he is in is being sieged down by enemies, you can also evacuate the caliph somewhere else. The reason the abbasids are there is because the mamluks (and maybe anyone who has the caliph) gets a disaster called the Abbasid Revolt where the caliph starts working against you and rebels to create a new caliphate.

Edit : Abbasid the Caliphate. I think it's from Mamluk expanded mission that led to Abbasid resurgence 17 infantry and 1 cavalry before realizing the mission Well the only nice thing i could say you're not like certain people that disband and never recruit cavalry because it's too expensive and inefficient haha

In this mod there's some kind of a special vassal type for Austria, they were "under Austrian personal union" and I suppose that's why they receive the overlord's color. They we're 100% disloyal though. Haven't played in the HRE or as Austria yet, so not 100% sure about this!
