I was trying to put the Advance Chute on my 2024 Maverick HD Bad Boy. The direction was worthless. But I tried to put it together with the directions. Didn't work. I watched two KZbin assembly videos. Neither one worked for me. Then I got lucky and found your video. You made the assembly of the Advance Chute simple and with your help I had it on my mower and working perfectly. Thank you. Number two, I am 6' 4" around 290 pounds and I have trouble pushing that petal on a 54" deck. My wife can not push it. I am going to find a way to put springs on my mower. The design of my mower is is a little different from your Bad Boy Rogue. But I will use the same concept and I will make it work. The difficulty of pushing that petal is the only negative I have found so far in my Bad Boy Mower. But once I fix that with your concept. It will be perfect for me. Thank you again.

Thank you for the views and comment. When putting springs on just make sure not to go to stiff of springs are your deck will bounce up when mowing over rough spots. You have to find that happy-medium that makes the deck easier to raise but not bounce up. I mowed all summer with no issues after doing this mod.

I installed an electric deck lift on my rogue. A lot easier than straining to lift that heavy deck. The spring tension idea that you made was a good idea. Bad boy needs to watch your videos.

I had the electric lift on one of my mowers but it takes to long to stop and lift when mowing over tree roots, drives and such.

You do a great job of explaining everything you do…how well do the belts hold up for the blades or the drive belt. Do you have to drop the transmission to change any of them

Seems to be as good as any other mower. Easy to change, I planning to do a video on that soon and keep my old belts as backup belts. You never know when a stick could cause a belt to brake and I like have a belt with me at all times.

Thank you. The trimming information was very helpful. I'm getting my Rogue next week. I was concerned about having enough deck extending passed the wheels to trim.

Any issues with the Bad Boy mower?

No issues at this time. I have a Bad Boy Elite that I had for 10 or so years other than belts and blade bearings replace once it's been a great mower.

was a bit younger when had mowing contracts for schools and medians and right of ways;;;we had one toro and 5 john deeres;;;all 60''ers;;;all had tuff rubber deflecters to direct debri down;;for a bit of safety;;;we drilled a hole in deflecters and tied rope to steering handle so could pull deflector up in tall grass ;;so grass didn't build up and look like getting ready to bale;;;I had the same problem with the weight of the deck being uncomfortable after a few hours of mowing;;;I cut a chunk of tire tred from old tire and attached to foot pedal frame after removing the rubber factory one which was more comfortable as it contacted more of the foot rather than part of the foot;;;;kind of like the extension ladders and you paint all day on one ya know how a buzzard feels resting on his perch;;;lol;;;;bad reference;;;anyway enjoyed;;;ya just did that too late for me;;;lol;;;I just mow 3 acres now and done before legs get tired;;;oh me a book;;;anyway;;;thumbs up and we be watchin

The springs have been working great and made a world of difference on my leg muscles, all I can say is I love this mower, it is a little over built for small yards but that's where my Spartan comes in play. No issues with the deck dial not staying in place. I haven't seen are heard any issues with the Bad Boy's not holing in place.

Bad Boy seriously needs to see this. Maybe they would make these changes optional and pay you royalties for this idea. It's great that you came up with this. You might want to call them and send them this video. Glad you got it all customized and found a way to make it work. Looks great!

I think you can get the power lift on these mowers but the power lift takes to long to raise and lower the deck when mowing over drives and such. Royalties, yea that would be a dream. LOL

Question Does your height adjustment knob give you the correct height in inches(i.e 3.5 on the knob=3.5 on the blade height?) Mine is off and i not sure how to adjust.

Pretty Close but you can adjust the deck to match the numbers if need be.
