Updated to 1.5 and spent the last 3 days just downloading mods, waiting for the game to load and not work, excluding mods one by one, made it work, and had it crash, so yea this video came just in time

One mod I consider essential is Tweaks Galore have a specific thing in rimworld that's kinda annoying/you want to change? That mod might have an option for it, like allowing alters in the throne room, or replantable anima tree, it also allows you to edit royalty permits and title requirements. Don't like breacher raids? Drop pods? Disable them. Also allows stackable chunks. There's so many options in this mod, I prefer it over having to download tons of different mods to get the same effects

Love it, thanks, before I was making my basic QOL mod list and it was over 150 mods, not counting on themed mods for the play trough, this is quite helpful, I'll be adding some of my personal ones but having this as a base is really good on my opinion, thanks

If you find your pawns just standing around (activity: standing, also floods the debug log) for no reason, rocketman is having conflicts with something else in your modlist. Couldn't pin it down any more exactly, unfortunately.

Auto drill. Durable clothes, Combat extended. Could you please answer why you don't use CE because it's so essential. People never answer that question. It's incompatible with a few mods sure, but only those that use science fiction guns that don't obey the laws of physics so it's not fair to use that excuse

I don’t use CE because I like rimworld combat for simplicity, adding an extra process to a core mechanic that I already like just isn’t my thing.

@@Kingallhobos even though in the mod options you can change it to a simplified version. Durable clothes is also one of those mods that should have been in the vanilla game. Instead of time that destroys apparrel, only damage destroys it instead so you don't need to craft new marine armour for each pawn every other year

@@rickysmyth Ohhhh so that's why my textiles are burning every years due to this and always used the mend mod due to this for my CE Gameplay. Thanks for the suggested mod!

@@jasperdecastro5215 yeah I don't know why it's not in the vanilla game. Being shot at should be the thing that damages your clothes, not time. May I also recommend you use the mod that only rotting corpses taint clothes. It doesn't make sense that you can't wear a bullet proof vest worn by a pirate that had their head blown off so you should use it. Another very important one is the ability to resurrect enemy mechaniods so you don't have to wait forever to make them yourself. Speeds the game up a few hours
