Love it! I'm in Arizona and last week around the wetland area I got pictures of green heron, blue herons, snowy and great egrets, black crowned night herons and my biggest surprise was a pelican! Didn't even know we had pelicans in Arizona 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

It's always a struggle for me as to video or shoot stills, I was lucky enough to capture a little of both. I only do short videos not vlogs... maybe later when I figure out the whole video thing! Haha I can relate to the struggle! For a long time I couldn’t prioritize video cause of that instinct haha, but now as a KZbinr I’ve come to find myself caring more about the video then photo. I saw a Great Blue Heron catching a snake one day and it was wiggling it's neck before it attacked just like the Egret did! Interesting to see that Egrets do that as well. I wish I had been doing video at the time!

Glad you liked it! It’s so interesting how they sway like that! I was so glad I got the angle I did. And my jaw is doing great, the problem is still now just the eating and energy, it’s still wired shut so I can’t get food down, making me too weak to get out of the house still!

I didn’t in this one! Depends on the day and what I’m shooting, but with my target species being Heron and Egret this day, I usually never shoot them with tripods since it inhibits my ability to stalk.
