Orzhov Ephemerate is a legit deck, very tough to deal with if they get to the late game. I beat it regularly w my mono black pauper deck "fight like hell" on Moxfield but it's very close sometimes. In my opinion the best all around well rounded mainstream pauper deck is Orzhov Ephemerate
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
Yup, very well suited against the current meta and it's hard to sb against it.

I've been wanting to build this pauper deck for awhile but in dimir.
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
Dimir is the more concise version with Deadly Dispute and Bargain as card draw :D
@emiliogil5816 Жыл бұрын
Hey, love the list but building it in paper can be a little expensive because of the lotus petals, any replacement or does the deck really need them?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
Play spring leaf drum instead 😃

What about any number of bitter reunions in the list? Gives haste to all the thopters you made and gets you through the deck or is it too mana intensive

Any number of reckless fireweaver somewhere would be worth it? would gain on the spot instead of waiting to arms of hadar :P

Hahaha fair, I've been thinking about it

I'm a big fan of mono-artifacts decks and this one looks sweet! Did you manage to do a pauper challenge with it or something more competitive?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
Not yet, but I've been testing some versions after the recording. I found that most of the time, Springleaf Drum is better than Lotus petal, so I think I will go with a few more rounds of testing but it has a lot of potential :D
@DrSiddha Жыл бұрын
@@davidroyale14 yeah springleaf is very powerful and more versatile in any artifact deck. Do you have the full list on Moxfield right?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын

Cool brew. David, what do you think about that red dude that Ping when artifact enters in battlefield to inifinite damage?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
Its very good as a one off for the extra win condition
@julianoandresirtoli513 Жыл бұрын
Now we can exchange Shared Discovery for Reverse Enginner and maybe the deck will be more consistent, instead of 16 spells with a converted mana cost of 4 or more for the triggered ability of Etherium Spinner we will have up to 20

That's a cool idea, will be revisiting this deck again soon

Isn't golem foundry just better? More resilient, makes 3/3s colorless, no restriction... I like spinner as the backup, but w foundry you don't need a frog or an enforcer to win.
@donnmurdock3425 Жыл бұрын
Maybe spinner builds your board while playing the deck normally, and foundry needs the three counters... Yeah okay I'm coming around on spinner.

@@donnmurdock3425 I love the suggestion as a secondary wincon :D
@draftbeast44507 ай бұрын
Is adding impact tremor easier to win?

It's an alternative wincon for sure. but once you go infinite, you just gotta attack :D

Isnt it better to run massive ride rather then rites of innitiation?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
It's another win condition for sure, but double red is somewhat hard to pull off, and at the end of the day, its one mana vs three.

@@davidroyale14 this is confusing. What’s the ruling lol??? Something checks the cc in the hand? On the stack?
@davidroyale14 Жыл бұрын
@@Woke-CardBoard ahh, quoting from what I found: " An object's mana value is always based on the mana cost of the object. Even if you pay more or less to cast it or use an alternate casting cost, the mana value will remain the same."

@@davidroyale14 holy! I wonder if they changed it. I played most recently like some seven years ago lol. I remember some chap clapping his chaps when in talking about cc is some sort of stack slapping business. Lmao
