This is an origin story of Mario and Luigi being in the Mushroom Kingdom for the first time, and they’ve just met Princess Peach; she might get kidnapped in the future. And just so you know, Princess Peach has always been a strong character; she’s playable in some of the games, including Super Smash Bros. She was even strong and a ruler in the Mario comics and had her own game.

That is very, very true. Peach can be capable at times. I even played her game on the gameboy back in the day. I was just having some banter because of the shade she was throwing my boy Mario lol. I've had a gripe with her for years over disrespecting my boy like that. She's does it in so many games even though in the majority of them, all she do is get taken and scream his name for help 🙄 it's crazy lol

Mario used to have a Brooklyn accent before they gave him the stereotypical squeaky Italian voice, Chris Pratt is imitating the Brooklyn accent Mario from the cartoons and old PC games, squeaky stereotypical iconic Mario came way later and wouldn't really be tolerable for a movie

Bruh the comedic timing on 11:50 is so spot on. There's just enough silence after Bowser incinerates that dude, and the way the music kicks back in is perfect. Lmao. Honestly with all the garbage Illumination puts out, I forgot how genuinely funny they can be.

Some of them were well placed, some you could feel they were placed there just for fan service but they fell kinda flat to me. HOWEVER, the rainbow road was AMAZING

Yeaa, I don't like how they make Peach unlikeable. She seems like those Mary Sues in modern cinema who can do anything perfectly and has a personality as interesting as a cardboard. They could've stick to her original in-game personality and still be capable, instead we have this hollywood pandering girlboss treatment.

U guys DO NOT UNDERSTAND HER CHARACTER AT ALL!!! shes done like 90% of this stuff before shes a straight asshole in paper mario when she wants to be she blew up a whole ass tower in the mario manga cos the kooperlings took mario she threw bowser out the mushroom kingdom in bowsers inside story kicked bowsers ass in super princess peach and has been playable since 1988...I dont know what u want from her like her whole attitude always depends on who's writing and directing the game so it fluctuates the D.I.C super show and the manga were clearly the main inspo for this movie which is AWSOME
