Fun story from my childhood. Richard Lynch was also a certified substitute teacher in California. He once subbed in my 4th grade class back in the day. I remember he walked in, took 1 look at our teacher's notes and said "This is lame". Then he asked "Hey kids, you wanna watcha a movie?" and busted out a copy of what else.....The Barbarians! After the movie he sat us all around and told us stories about how he always loved playing the villain because it's way more fun. That was the best day of school ever!

One of the brothers, David Paul, died just in 2020, at the age of 62. His brother Peter Paul is still living. They were retired in vermont. From an instagram account i found seems like David was still pretty buff even in his sixties, tho no longer a roid monster. He seems to have spent his time playing guitar, making furniture and doing pretty damn good photography.

And I thought it was funniest joke in the whole movie with the longest and biggest setup and foreshadowing. But I can see why many people might miss that shot on the television where it might be too fast and small on regular screens to see that he is trying to pull crossbow with no finger there. 😀He is jiggling the crossbow in that close-up but there are no fingers to pull the trigger!

David and Peter Paul weren't dumb. They pretended to be dumb, to play into the image of huge muscle guys being dumb, but they did pretty good as B movie actors. Their image was good-natured but dumb twins. They hammed it up, a lot. Their main thing was combining body building and power lifting. Nice boys from Connecticut

Love watching these - reminds me of when my friends and I would watch movies on my projection system, and if they were bad films we would just banter over the top of it. Good times and this is just so good to watch. This movie being the origin of “that sound” is hilarious.

Absolutely hilarious!!! Erin had me cracking up. She’s super funny and was quick on the draw with her jokes. I would definitely drink a beer with her!!! This was the funniest video yet from you guys. I was laughing the whole time. I’ve seen all the barbarian twins movies and they are all as equally horrible. They act like that in real life. Please review any of the movies from Lloyd Kaufman. All so terribly great. Keep up the great content

Another suggestion provided you don't mind old school cheesy horror. But Robot Monster is a must. A giant ape with a diver helmet and a bubble machine tries to take over the world. It's a must see and highly recommended as a double bill with Killer Shrews. As for this one, well I gotta find myself a copy. My goodness,I love your channel. Make me nostalgic for my video clerk days .

They said his name at the start of the movie and you even said something about it. Michael Berryman was the guy and yes in tons of movies both low and higher budget. It was his unique look for sure that got him the roles. I hear he was really fun at the conventions back in the day.
