There was a certain magic in the 80s through 90s of a specific flavor of cheesy that could only exist because everyone involved was simultaneously genuinely doing the best job they could based on personality and circumstance, and being kinda incompetent at best. Drunk Carradine can out-act 95% of working actors. A little hair of the dog, get the synapses firing properly as he is is accustomed to daily, and he's super solid. You just have to capture those few golden hours between medium buzzed and blotto. Like if you are relying on natural dawn or dusk light for an epic shot, you have to capture the "golden hour". You build the shooting schedule around his level of inebriation.

Strawberry creamsicle? Ugh, I remember when the only flavor beer came in was beer. I'm sure it's tasty but that's the only flavor beer should come in. These movies have a bizarre connection with Deadly Prey. The guy who was Danton's buddy who helped him in that movie played Carradine's evil boss in Future Force, and Ted Prior, Danton himself of course played Carradine's son in this film. BTW, Marian in this is supposed to be the same character as the one in the last movie.
