4:18 no I really don't think that it was done solely for 3D screening, I think it's just using good camera angles to make the viewer more immersed in the action, as you can actually see the scale of the monster and feel the weight of the bell's impact. In short, they knew their shtick.

I think it's a shame that you went into this convinced that it was going to be a "kid's movie", so you didn't really get the chance to fully understand the movie and the different messages it tried to convey. Yes, it's about facing your mortality and enjoy the simple things in life, but it's also about trust, about allowing yourself to be vulnerable in front of someone else and how you can't go about life without trusting anyone, nor can you trust everyone - then you're just being taken advantage of. It's about how some people can have everything going on for themselves, yet still be pieces of garbage that are only concerned about their personal interest. It's about not shutting yourself off of a family that you don't think you should be a part of, be it for lack of blood relation or otherwise, but that still very much loves you. It's about how the way you choose to see the things that happen to you affect your perception of life and thus your approach of them in the future - aggressive, defensive, or simply with an open mind. It is also about how making a wish is not the solution to your problems, you either do something about them or accept them as your reality - a bit like in Disney's "Princess and the frog". I could go on and on but then I think I would just be reading a tad too much into the movie. I didn't put a like to your video, nor did I dislike it. I just hope you can re-watch it without the pressure of it being for a reaction video and maybe try to get more into the depths of the movie and perhaps enjoy it that much more :)

Yeah, he didnt take it seriously at all and ignored the themes cause "its just a kids movie". To the point he thought the wish getting destroyed was a waste, when the point of their stories (except for Jack) is that they realized that they didnt need the wish. Besides, Perrito didnt even want a wish cause he said he already had what he wanted. This is the first vid I saw of him and he's giving me a certain...vibe that I'm not sure how to describe. But oh well, it's just natural that people won't always connect with everyone. Though some of the reactions were still good and made me laugh

I find it funny that the main protagonists are cats, yet people are in awe of the canine characters 😂 It was also a nice touch to have Goldilocks adopted by the bears. Seriously, hadn't nobody thought of that before? And Jack Horner is the perfect demonstration of how some people don't have a tragic past to explain their evil. Some people are bad because they are too greedy and ungrateful.

Two things: First, not seeing the first film. All you need to know the film tells in 4 words. “Puss?” She knows of him at least. “Kitty?” They know each other. *”Puss!”* Oh she *knows* him. _”Kitty…!”_ Oh he _knows_ her, and that’s why she *knows* him. Second, what I love about Death: Tai Lung is ferocity and relentless. Shen is mind games and monologues. Kai is the dramatic entrance, with sparking spinning blades. But he also loves a good legend. Put every Kung Fu Panda villain together, and you get Death.

death is a super intense character. if not conceptually then even his design. his eyes specifically are so harsh and bright and beady, it's kinda hard to keep eye contact with him. they especially stand out against his greyscale color scheme, so that his design inherently draws you toward those uncomfortable eyes. like the death you're afraid to look in the eyes but have to choice but to eventually confront

@@mjcmatthew I get what this and the other guy are saying. So first off, a lot of others are going to be annoyed when you continued calling this a kids movie instead of a family movie. It is a family movie like the entirety of the Shrek franchise but only in the beginning is it passable because many of us also did think it was going to be another pretty generic kids movie before watching it. Second would be you consistently wanting them to swear. Also the reason why they limited actual swearing is because of rules with films these days, they wanted it to keep the PG rating. They were pushing the limit with it already. Third is you seeming oblivious to the meanings and the heart of the movie, only focusing on Perrito and not too focused on anything else. Oh and yeah, just the way you said Puss was going to die of a heart attack instead of whatever was going to happen while he was having an accurate presentation of a panic attack. Ironic you said that though because Antonio Banderas had a heart attack or something similar a few years ago inspiring this movie (panic attacks, depression, fear of facing death). There may be some other reasons why we're annoyed with your reaction but I already forgot them. (This isn't to be hateful, I'm sharing and answering your question. Pretty sure I've watched a few of your other reactions before and they were fine and maybe enjoyable, but there were stuff you should have known going into this one)
