That was amazing! You must feel well stoked after that and the sense of accomplishment...I could feel my adrenaline pumping just watching and I did in fact find myself holding my breath on that first trail you did - even with the affect the lens has on the gradient, you could tell that was bloody steep! Pretty sure I'd have said, nah not today if it was me! I watch in awe and know I'm not that able to do this yet myself. Well in...PS. the new trail dog is such a lively wee one! gonna be a handful....

I was proper buzzing! So much so that I did two runs of it 😁. My bro told me at first it was crazy then when I said I may skip it he changed that to “normal steep”. It definitely wasn’t normal steep 🤣. Great trail but definitely one of the tougher valley ones! And yep Roxie is a proper livewire! She fits in well 😂

F**king mental more like! The angle your fellow rider went down that rock face must've been well over 45 deg. And the "controlled falling" down that other chute was a bit nerve wracking. Brilliant entertainment though. How would you compare the second trail, Forbidden Fruit, to the trails you ride at Pitfichie a while back? It just a bit rockier than the other videos I've seen in the Tweed Valley. Definitely gonna do Yair when down that way next - any other trail recommendations (we do reds getting into easier blacks)?

It was a pretty mad trail! Yeah that rock section was scary to watch never mind ride it! Cheers, glad you enjoyed it. I find Yair in general has a different feel about it to the rest of the valley. I think it's less ridden as it's a bit further out and less of a "channel" than inners/golfie. Different again to Pitfichie but hard to put into words. I'd say most trails are pretty black but I'd go for Ginger Mullet from the top (really good red!), Quarry Double Decker, Off the Saddle, 2 Hoes Bro, Buzzards Lair (that's on the hill with Forbidden Fruit). Forbidden Fruit is cracking, some tough bits but can easily walk down them. Hope that helps!
