This game is supposed to be a sequel to NFS MW 05, but EA rushed it out. Try searching NFS MW 2012 beta build, you can see how different it is compared to this one. That build even have yellow filter like the original Most Wanted.

To be fair, it was supposed to be a proper sequel to MW '05 with crashbreakers and a connected story but they ran out of time (or EA pulled the plug on them). In any case, still a good game on its own. But it does feel like a toned down version of Burnout Paradise but with cops.

Losging the cops on the highway might be efficient, but they would spawn there too 8:49 , that is potentially some hiding spots similar to most wanted '05 Also, the car's engine shut itself down after a long time to make chases easier

The first event is kinda easy, all you have to do is straight to the highway and go fast, also you can turn off your engine during Cooldown phase to speed up the process (on keyboard press E)

If you search in game files, there's a folder named HAWAII, and I have no idea why it's named Hawaii, but I think Need for Speed - Hawaii would've been a much better name, and would fit better than "Most Wanted"

Well if you want tips, I can help you with that, one as soon as you enter cooldown, change the cars color, it'll help in quickly lowering the heat level, let's presume I'm on heat 4, I go on cooldown, I go to the repair or garage or fuel station or whatever it is, I change the car color, my heat goes to level 3 witin a sec, also get on some rooftop as quick as you can, and stay there after 40 seconds or 30 the car engine shutdown letting the bar decrease even faster. Also when you get the pro mods of each thing, use this combination, track tires pro, burn nitrous pro, ram chassis pro, Aero body pro. Change the burn nitrous to Powershot if you want a burst of accelration, and to even fortifiy the car, use impact protection pro with the ram chassis pro, and when if you like to off-road a lot, change to off-road tires pro then.
