I'm at a loss here, how can the government say there's no money to outfit the Services as they should be as a right. Yet! Yet, they send hundreds of thousands of our taxes to equip foreign forces. Blows my mind.

It shows the deplorable situation in our country when those attending the ceremony at the cenotaph have to go through security first. Not only do we need to beef up the armed forces, we need new leaders that put the people and country first. Unfortunately the ones we have at the moment are intent on giving everything away and destroying national morale.

Here is a thing: Musicians in the Royal Marines Bands, when they leave automatically have gained a degree in music having been trained the in the military music schools, which have the most incredibly high standards. Why do they not do the same for medics in the military??? WHY? Do it now!

Have to agree we don’t need degree trained Nurses, They never used to be back in the 70s there were strikes and Nurses were in short supply so they brought in Military Nurses who used to perform some operations in the Military Hospitals. Things like appendix Ops. The Civilian hospital refused to permit those operations to be carried out by Military Nurses because the civilian Nurses were not trained and not permitted to do those things. Most Doctor surgeries could easily be manned by Nurses and send Doctors back to Hospitals. A Practitioner Nurse can do most thing a Doctor can do and any in house trained Nurse can do the basics like organise test required by a Practitioner Nurse and patents could then be referred to Hospital specialists if test show further treatment needed.

Yet our stupid politicians will waste billions on a useless high speed train which will save about 35 minutes on a journey London to Birmingham. This country does not need high speed trains it is not big enough...... but without doubt a lot of back handers made a difference. We need to have a top class military period.

I’m old enuf to have been in hospital in the 1950s and the difference in nursing between then and now - absolutely unbelievable. You get well looked after now but not with the same care and respect that you did back then. Britain should be ready to defend itself NOW, not some future date especially with the world in its present state.

Fight it my foot… unless issues are close to his life that is..Farage has ridden on the information Tommy Robinson has put his life on the line to reveal however what has Farage done for and to Tommy… stepped back and allowed him to be put in prison along side those who would happily kill him! Fight you say… haven’t seen anyone other than Matt Goodwin fight for what we so desperately need in Britain and I may add, Matt Goodwin understands where Tommy is coming from, is grateful for what he has done and doesn’t take credit for what Tommy has fought for and even by example of being in prison, is willing to suffer for… dw
