If you unironically complain about this event as a f2p then you’re just delusional, we get so much free stuff now then we used to before, and it’s just good that we have many big events cuz then we have multiple chances to cash our scrolls or orbs in to get great rewards, and if you used your resources on Christmas, then don’t expect anything the next big event💀 And obviously they are gonna make events that will make people wanna spend, cuz that’s how they make money, you f2p players basically do nothing for them in terms of money. I think that this event is bad because the norm that used to be was every transcedence event you need 900 scrolls but in Christmas it was 1000 and now it's 1100 . Since it's really hard to save scrolls we f2p players think of it as a precious resource and wait for the most optimal time to cash those in . We skip black friday and Halloween like events where we needed 900 scrolls and waited for big events of the year like Christmas, CNY and anniversary. And this event is a kick in the balls for the diligent players who patiently wait for good events . Me personally I couldn't take it anymore when I had 1900 scrolls during Christmas and spent a thousand and hoped for a 900 scrolls event at the very least . Also you as a content creator saying things like f2p players should be blamed for not having scrolls without understanding the situation completely makes many players and the community lose their faith on this game . I don't know . Maybe what I said is only what I feel myself and others don't . Edit - I see people saying things like now it seems every month or so you get a decent hs event and I do agree but let's say there's 8 hs events in 8 months and you can spend your hs in only two events then if you are a rational person then you would save your hs for the bigger events of the year CNY, Easter, Christmas and anniversary because they have always been known to be good events like 2 years back they gave a mysterious artifact chest for 1500 scrolls for the first time ever . 1 year ago it was for a 1000 scrolls . So you would be wise to save your hs for CNY because it has always been good .

You missed the point , This event might be bad for you now but because about each month now it seems there is an event that is worth using things like HC's on so players that are using all the HC's now will not be able to get the rewards you will down the road as a F2P player. And because the events are all much overall better you should be able to walk away with about the same amount of value with the 2 events that you will get to do stuff in vrs waiting for just one event. The point is 2k HC's in the end will get you about the same progress and instead of only being able to do one event you can do far more per year .

My personal issue is the huge gaps between when i can actually do a big event, months of saving and deciding which event may be worth it is maddening. I decided to finally spend on the last big event purely because i got fed up of holding out. The game needs spenders for sure but the game needs F2P players as well to populate the servers. I've twice taken a long break from this game because it became tedious logging in everyday to do dailies and sometimes a small common event. As a F2P player i just feel like the time i spend on the game isn't being rewarded enough. I love your videos and i'll keep watching but this one just seemed like a spender looking down on a F2P player.

@@MKxJUMP Maybe the game should try jotting down the fomo..? I personally wouldn't really mind logging in on a daily basis just to push a button, farm my stuff, and pop back out to do something else. But the game is currently so overwhelming with things to keep track of, it almost feels like you SHOULD stick around and play it, even though most of the time there's hardly anything for a f2p to do. Is it really that much to ask for more events like the Fantasy Factory, where a player is rewarded BOTH for checking in daily AND for actively DOING something, in this case a puzzle? Maybe I am reaching honestly, but the fact there are so many people complaining, be it due to not truly understanding how the game should be played, or any other reason- Surely might imply that the game is doing SOMETHING wrong, right?

"Why do f2p players complain? It's because they don't have scrolls." Talk about a strawman argument. I'm f2p, been playing for almost 5 years. I spent 1100 at Christmas for the 90k subs and I spent 2k scrolls here for 180k subs. The issue with this event is NOT that f2p don't have scrolls, but that it is WORSE than a NORMAL trans event. The normal trans event requires 300 scrolls for the first tier (CI box with 150 mtb is the choice) or 900 for the second tier (subs would be the choice). Christmas required 300 scrolls for the first tier, but 1000 for the second tier. This event requires 400 for the first tier and 1100 for the second tier. Do you get extras along the way? Sure, Christmas had some nice stockings and this event has the Jade rabbit bags that are nice. But if you look at the meat of the event - the HS summon portion and first/second tier of rewards - it is unequivocally worse than a regular trans event. It is so bad, in fact, that the content creators for f2p like Aknilox are advising people to either do the full 2k or to skip it entirely. You know what needs to stop? Big spenders like you assuming that f2p are clueless about the game or what makes an event good.

theres definitely a group that complain for no reason but this HS event is mathematically worse than a normal trans event. we were getting 150 mtb for 260 hs + 2 free awakens or 90k subs for 860 hs + 2 free awaken. this event offers 150 mtb at 360 hs + 2 free awakens or 90k subs at 1060 hs + 2 free awakens. the only option that can be good is the 180k sub + 170 mtb + p2w arti for 2k hs and 10 awakens. the problem with this option however is it needs the p2w arti to be good and getting 60 points from 10 elenas is below 50%, even with 11 elenas its not over 80% chance. so for f2ps i would advise against the first 2 options and only do the 3rd option if u are pretty sure u can get the p2w arti off 60 point awakening.

I love how passive MK is about this, I completely agree, I’m a low spender and I rarely have enough for most events, but that is because I keep using them on the other big events, and I don’t mind, I put in a small but stable amount into each event so I can get some good rewards, but not in all the way so I can get other rewards from other events, and MK has a great point, you have to decide what event you want to put in with knowing that you might not be able to put in the next event, it’s called making a decision, and while I do think there should be a few more rewards for f2p so they can make more progress, it’s up to how you spend your resources, it’s like buying a game, then a few weeks later a game you really want came out, it’s not the company’s fault, it’s how you spend your resources.

Personally mid vip7 player here. Been around since aida's era. What MK said is kinda true regarding on level of participation on events. All low-mid spenders also have to plan and save their resources in anticipation to the event. And half of the time, can't event get a glimpse on rewards that is actually relevant to latest update. Since VIP5 I actually stop spending on privileged cards as there is just so less use of Gems nowadays. I saved up the money that were supposed to go into cards, and choose which package to buy for only rewarding event & monthly mission reward, and that alone can actually cover for daily purchase of HS and Cores, and am still sitting comfortably at 60k gems. One other thing that I personally did was not spending any gems in buying the Pickaxe/Candy/Dice unless you are going all out or main event ties to it, as the accessible rewards in those recurring event likely can be acquired through other means anyway. Spending $100 monthly nowadays does get you something in main event, but definitely will not propel you much in line to the latest environment/trend/meta/gamemode in the game. To be honest, my only big complain of the game is sublimation material locked behind Chapter 2-2 Void Campaign instead of Chapter 1 (sure we can get there sooner or MUCH later, but personally I just think Chapter 1-4 should be good enough for players to access and start IDLING the materials based on the difficulty curves of VC). Finally DH can really consider bumping up the rates of Cloud Island resources, Crystal and Stellar in the existing idling gamemodes. Heck even by another 50% will be much more tolerable based on current day consumption rate of resources. Anyway, cheers everyone.

as a f2p turned budget player i decided to use around 300 scrolls on this event so i could get the cloud island chest and also use the soul symbols to change around one of my heroes which allowed me to clear campaign. and i plan on skipping plenty of events if i don’t have the scrolls or wishing coins or orbs (hoping valentines day is a good event btw)

Not looking to detract from any points, but I want to play devil's advocate on a certain topic: Perception. Most people these days understand that a F2P game usually means "unfair P2W garbage." Some games are far more clever about obscuring the the real power difference, but the majority (like IH) do not. If DH Games where to restructure their events to feel more rewarding to everyone, then there would be far less backlash every event. For example, factoring in a % of total available recourses acquired; a standard event (roughly) has a F2P completion of 12-20%, light spender of 25-50%, and whales of 50-100%. Only completing 12% of an event every week, with the occasional 20% for the "big ones" can definitely wear down a person over time. If they were to balance it out to FTP 30-45%/Spender 40-60%/Whale 60-100% I think the overall moral of the community would be higher overall.

I've been here with you many years ago, when there were only 2k scroll event rewards (or even no event rewards, when the event was already good enough to scroll), but it is incorrect to compare the game in it's current state to a game many years ago, it's like comparing a man to a child - yes they are the same species, but that's it. This event is regarded as one of the biggest of the year, yet it gives rewards just as (or even worse than) any other special even (aka new year, halloween e.t.c) - that is where the dissapointment lies, our expectations are not met and by a long shot. And as a bonus hit in the crotch we got a requirement of spending another quite valuable currency - starry gems to max out F2P route of 250, that's probably the most annoying to me.

Like a physical casino there are people who play only when free spins are given out but get to enjoy the venue and atmosphere, people who go in on a regular fixed budget and take advantage of some 'complementary' services and the unfortunate group (regardless of their budget level) that always blows out completely whenever they can afford to and get the VIP treatment to partially make up for it.

One big problem I have is that orb events used to be my favorite, and they just aren't good anymore. 900 scrolls for 90k sublimation chests great, but when it takes 400 orbs to barely get a ptw chest, it is observed, dh is only focusing on scroll events and is boring no fun wishing coin events or orb events and no class seal land so I'm not sure how much longer I will be playing

Since i came back to the game last year and starteed actually watching content, i was never unhappy with any event. I am F2P, but every event that doesnt make me want to spend my ressources (like HS) is very welcome to me, because it lets me save up without any temptation. Last year i did at first spend many of my ressources to get to a point, where i can save comfortably and then stopped because of the halloween event, where sooo many F2P's got very much, since they saved and i realised how to actually play the game

I’m a budget player and from my perspective, the event is good in terms of resources gained, but it does feel SLIGHTLY bland. HOWEVER, anyone who hasn’t saved their resources (scrolls, hero shards, etc) have no right to complain. We’ve known that it would be a scroll event since around 3 weeks ago. In that time as a budget player I’ve accumulated roughly 400 scrolls without even focusing on em.

I am f2p and I spent 900 scrolls on Halloween for the Sub chest and I am back to 900 scrolls for this event. You just gotta do you dailies and save all your currency for when you can actually trade them in for sub chests or artifacts. I am even sitting at 55k gems rn and I'm not gonna spend them on the jade rabbits cause it's just not worth it. I'd rather buy cores rn and get my 2nd transcendence hero. Patience/discipline is key.

Hey MK, I really enjoy watching you Vids and I like the content that you're doing. I usually dont write in the comments but am more like a streamlurker. Rn I kinda feel the need to write tho, bc I have the feeling you kinda missunderstood the complains. Yes, maybe there are players as dumb as you say,being twitchy fingered and then complain, but I think there are enough f2p players out there being smart enough to not do that and still compain about this event. And that is bc they WERE patient and DID save their scrolls for this event and now this event is mathematically worse than normal events we've had before. (by that I mean we had events with 900 scrolls = 1 arti or equivalent, now we have 1100 sc for 1 arti or 2k sc for 2 arti which is still worse value or 2k+like 700 SG for 3 (iirc) which is still worse than before). So now every f2p who saved has less to get for more to spend. And just to clarify: Im not complaining, I dont rly care, I think this event is worse so I will just save my scrolls and use them when I think an event is better, but I can see where people are coming from with their complains and I think you saying f2p's are stupid for crying about being twitchy fingered is just a major ... As a F2P player I find that saving isn’t the issue but that a lot of these events cater more to people who spend and not to the actual F2P getting enough to actually help them enough. We get the bare minimum if we don’t save the maximum amount and if we do it’s still considered the bare minimum I think that’s why people are so upset. As F2P it takes a while to save the resources you need to even get what should be considered “progress” and that in itself ends up being a small increase. And I get it you can argue that you still get the monthly task things but it still takes a while to save the resources from those to actually even help with progress as well. I’m not saying F2P should be getting equal amounts as P2W gets but they can definitely give a lot more especially considering the gap between the 2 grows bigger every single day.

I started 2 months after Aida was released and it took me almost a year and half to get copies the same with amen Ra at the anniversary event where I scrolled and didn't pull any copies. Well, since DH changed the transcended heroe rhythm from 3 months to 2 months, they didn't change the output on free HS, so that is on DH. But what I need to agree with, is that f2p need to save stuff, and what you always said, since a year minimum: f2p needs to be totally picky, what event they spend on. and here I need to bring another but: If the events get better, and more alluring, dh should become more f2p friendly again. ...... wait ...... In general f2p players when they comlain, they have that mentality that they are like foreced to play this game. I'm a programer and i know how much work it is to keep a game like this alive week to week so of course they can't just give free stuff every time. If u expect to get a lot of things for free then it means you didn't experience hardships in life. Just be happy if u get good stuff for free, and if u want more then work for it. In this world nothing is for free.

It's nonsensical, comparing that rule of thumb in life to a gacha game. You can be a master of chess, guitar, or another skill based game basically for free and beat people who pay for better equipment with sheer skill. Yes, managing resources is a bit of a skill, but only a procedural one. Not a dynamic one like practicing is. Once you're doing it right, there is no skill only repetition. If what you're saying is true, you would be able to get better at a gacha game by putting time in to grind (like in real life) but there's a cap on that in gacha games you can't "grind" like in Final Fantasy or something. What's funny is what MK is saying IS true. AND I'm not f2p. But the delivery, and yours right here is just absolutely pretentious.

Cant compete every event, even most spenders cant do that. I never done that, in fact I never had 1.5k+ scrolls ever on my account. There is usually always just "partly" completion for 99% of the player base. You essentially just have to choose a time and place when the rewards are most beneficial for your account. For example as a late game player(200+ mill). If I can get Essence sub chest without no spending, or little to no spending. I do them. Specially if its the 45k/90k chest. There are so many great "smaller" events these days. The old rule about saving 1.5k+ scrolls for big events is "outdated" really. Those who goes around saying that is the less than 1% of the player base which usually look to max the event. There are so many great smaller events that can be very beneficial for your account. 500 scrolls in this event grants you less than 500 scrolls in many other previous events. Completely depends where you at, what you want and how the design of the event is.

I have 1400 scrolls as f2p, and completely understand where you are coming from, if you chose to spend scrolls during Christmas, the only way you can spend scrolls for an artifact or anything else is if you saved like 2000 scrolls for a combination of each. When I complain, which I admit to, it is mostly because of the fact that so many rewards that f2p players would love aren't available because of the dreaded "use VIP points" part and the people that spend to obtain these rewards are mostly those who really don't need it. For example, I am currently in a surplus of copies to build, but very very little amounts of food heroes, so a 10* given through an event would be such a boost to me or someone in my position. I really dont mind that whales get B tier crystals, because they have spent the money for something worthwhile, and I haven't, which I just have to deal with. When you say we can get 3000 scrolls per year, I whole heartedly agree because I haven't spent scrolls since Azrael released, which is maybe 6 month ago, and I am halfway to the 3000 mark. I always try to be as informed as I can be, but I do sometimes get annoyed that I can get heaps and heaps of artifacts, so it is very good to have a reality check, so thank you.

The overall experience of this game has dropped horrendously in the past 2 years. My force wars has been broken this entire time, I'm still stuck on the registration page, I've reported it in game and on discord and haven't heard a peep. They don't care about your experience, they care about you spending money, and this is why f2p will always get shafted. Newer spenders are still entranced into thinking if they spend money they will catch up... You wont. You won't ever catch up. If you drop $25k and do catch up, it wont be for long because they will add a whole other level of stupidity, cleverly designed to get you to think you need it, and separate you from your cash. I've played for almost 5 years now, I'm half way through VIP 9 and I'm just cutting the wallet cold turkey. Spending any money on this game is foolish. It's impulsive because you think you need something to be successful, it may get you over a hump but there are ten thousand more behind it, but hey, it's your money, do what you want with it.

If I can get 1/3 of all the early artifacts (crown, strings, bells) in a span of 3 months, then I don't really care that much about those events being more exhaustive. Like I would actually complain, if you got only one Splendid artifact every Transcendence Hero for the early players (it obviously goes down, as you get CoT faster). Because the rate of artifact chests right now - is probably two or maybe even more Splendid artifacts per Transcendence hero. On that account specifically - I am not even halfway through CoT. People should do their radios. Stack relics, do the events. You need cores of origins? I got that on my first account that has like 6-8 months now, from Mooncake event (and if you stacked you could easily get one from CNY now). You need sublimation? Now melon chests are common rewards in every event and Gala. Chests, materials - you get that every event. Like what else you want to get from those events? F2P got a lot more rewards that were P2W, split in all events. So I don't care if I can't do one of the biggest events. People are just complaining for the sake of complaing, even if situation is getting only better. The only main issue I have here is that - seasonal skins and specifically seasonal skin chest are still put either at the maxed out rewards or aren't even available to F2P. With like 50 skins out there - this is kinda unacceptable to me. Like you do not need to limit most of those skins from us. This event even gives a lot more for free with the lottery tickets. Having relatively good chance to hit triple or whatever rewards for free? And the rewards are stuff like stellar, compass cores, master tool boxes and starry gems? Like come on. I could understand complaing about Halloween, but this is fun.

Actually it is creators that say that this event is not as good as similar events before. So people pick that up and chant it. 1100 scrolls in this event are indeed worse than the 800-900 than before. I personally despise the rng in these events that make it impossible to see in advance what you are getting.

I don't mind saving scrolls but the reason I am mad is because DHGAMES are increasing the price for artifacts it used to be 900 now it is 1000 plus you need to do more things I shouldn't be obligated to have 2000 scrolls to do an event I can't collect that I don't have the gems nor the time and I play optimally my new acc is since 19 September and I have gotten 4 artifacts chests but I did not have to spend a lot to get them this event if you want anything it is like 1200 scrolls which is a punch in the face they are just making it harder for f2p players to play the game without saving and doing nothing for 2 to 3 months they want people to spend money but some people can't I can complain like this every event but I don't because I know how it works sure I won't do anything now maybe in 2 months when I have 1000 scrolls but now I will skip so I basically am not doing anything they are going back to expensive things without thought and everything they are adding is for old players which I get because they have played the time to get new events and gamemodes to play with but maybe just a thought about us f2p please at least every 6 months

The funny thing is that Valentine's Day event would have been a Prophet Orb event if CNY wasn't 2 weeks. It hot shifted to Imp's Adventure due to that. And that's doesn't line up with anything for the rest of the year. Also means they have to remove one event to align Anniversary for scrolls. Really a bad year once more, so hope the add a good random event for orbs.

MKX you don't understand because you have pay to win accounts so you can splurge and get it out of your system and not feel restricted. You just learn to deal with it, take your Ws, and be grateful for what you do have. To be honest in game chat were so bad right now. So many toxic F2P. About events they were complaining since they were jealous of those who have save their resources and been able to participate the event. These toxic F2P players were complaining since they didn't use their resources wisely and now they were blaming the game events. Just an advise to them if they want the game to go to what they want just create your own game and give yourself many scrolls. Don't be toxic to a game were your having issues because of your own mistakes.

I've been f2p for 3 years this video gives me nostalgia I've skipped multiple big events usually Christmas or cny and it doesn't feel bad. I've been doing that strat of a 1000 scrolls and 2000 scrolls(always on anni) on big events and it feels rewarding.The fact that DH games transitioned off to being more generous than before makes people greedy and delusional bars are already been set. CCL is removed where f2p and P2w can have fun but it's not a bad thing at all They compensated us with a lot of new game modes. Those people who complain about pay walls are just plain stupid. Yes we f2ps are responsible for the popularity of the game but if you remove spenders out of relevance would you be willing to play a stupid ass generic idle game with a lot of ads and survey shits?

As a f2p I agree with you. Now, I've played for 5 years & I'm old school: I use scrolls for a meta hero to get it E5 right away (+ Void 4 since it's no point otherwise now). That means I can't afford to burn 900 scrolls randomly if I want to get everything right: I need my 9 loops + 5 million shards & crystals and a truck load of food ready! So in the end it comes down to what we want. Artis fall for free twice a month and they are not my priority because I don't need a fancy arti for a 10* support: my 14 magic sources are perfect for them. So there. Pick your literal battles. I don't need a Trans priest for any game mode at the moment so I'll skip & wait for a damage dealer that will make a difference for at least 2 years like Eloise did. That's why I use my scrolls max twice a year which means I also need to skip at least 10 times a year! Patience & rewards. Thanks for the reality check MK, have a great day.

I use to be a low spender.. But since the price rise stopped spending on this game. So kinda became a f2p completely after that. I saved up 1800-1900 scrolls for Christmas & New Yrs. I used 1500 scrolls on that n I saved the rest n made up for CNY right now with some 900scrolls. If you play this game long enough you know how to save.. You can't have every event. But the best events you realise are CNY, Anniversary, Thanksgiving, Christmas & NYrs. You can save through the year for whichever. Usually do Anniversary & Christmas events. Rest I skip. Just my way of handling it. Idle Heroes have improved alot n have started giving alot back to the players I feel.. N iv been playing since 2018 I think.. So many things have changed n they have given back.. There is alot for the whales but that's with most games like this. Enjoy it. Be smart n you'll get there.

Well you got to think huge whales can push out a trans in a month if not less than that so they still need to push stuff for them and with new trans heroes honeybee metas which always adds fun to the game because it is possible to change the trans heroes you have so say you have alchemist Holmes young but want FQV especially with the last couple big events giving a lot of crystals to change heroes or regress them so if a hero comes out that is better than one you currently have that would help your team it’s not entirely out of the picture to swap your trans but even if it’s for 100 people their biggest source of money is that 100 people so not giving them content and telling them to just sit there would hurt them

I think F2P definitely needs more attention but if you didn’t play when the game launched it is VASTLY different and way more F2P accommodating if you don’t save now you can somewhat get by progress won’t be fast but can be steady if you stay on your dailies when the game came out if you weren’t a HUGE hoarding you couldn’t progress like a heavy trigger finger now someone who spends every single rss right now would progress faster than if you half ass saved when the game came out

The main thing is that summons tie into another event that gives additional rewards (like this one): P2W artifact chest, sublimation chest. Events that give swaps on top of that are great too: New Years and anniversary in June

To everyone whining about these events, go back and watch event reviews from 3 to 4 years ago and see how they compare. I remember being stoked to get a demon bell for 2k scrolls. I remember it taking 6 months to get your first e5. This game is so much better for f2p than it was 3 years ago. Progress is so much faster. Yes the ceiling is higher but that is for long time players.

Based on what you said the previous video. This event requires you to spend 2k scrolls in a long time. Others you just need to spend 900 - 1500 scrolls and some soul awakening to get a sub chest. This one does not offer the same rewards unlike the previous ones. Just saying this event is not that friendly for f2p players.

Well thats some fun information. Games used to be all about let the best one win. Strategy, tactics, reflexes..whatever the game is about. This game lets the guy with the biggest wallet win. No issue for me, im just not playing it. It is an issue for kids trying out such games though. I wish my country would ban every single game with p2w aspects. Simply to bring back the fun for everyone. Sadly though most mobile games are made by gambling companies, focusing on how to lead the people to spend more and more money. That is simply not gaming for me. I rather buy my kids a pc, and have some fun in an environment with an even playing field. the issue F2P players have with the game isnt that events are too spendy, but rather the way they do it, bassicly they make it so you can participate i 2 events per year with rewards being in the middle of mediocre and average for the ammount of effort put into getting them. With current state of the game with the cores, sublimations, void campaign. collecting resources for for 6 months to have a chance of getting a single artifact and almost nothing else with it is underwhelming. Now im not gonna say that they should give artifact every event there is, but making a big event where most of the players cant get jack shlt is just scummy, atleast a puppet would be nice or atleast regular hero chest. And before ppl come at me "before it used to be harder", think about what you're talking about. The only reason the artifacts are "easier" to obtain is because there are Core and sublimation chests that will make spenders spend. Im all for the grind, but it needs to be made more interactive and interesting instead of logging in, pressing idle master, fill in the void ark and throw some dice for imp adventure.

To me something said in the video is a hard truth for very old players like me that because of the way the game has changed since around Void started , being a player that use to have 6 accounts that I spent a bit on each have gotten screwed over the most . I'm technically new to this game even though my account is over a year old, I just came back to idle heroes in Christmas 2022 and I spent over 100$ bucks thinking I'd get a ton of resources and I would maxed out my account but it turns out that if you don't have resources saved up you can't catch up even if you spent money, well the more you spend the faster you progress but you need to save resources too and choose a event where you can go all in , sadly for me I got no resources saved and I go all in in every event since I started playing, I guess all I can do now is save for upcoming events maybe next Christmas lol. Event is very bad and they are geting gredier over time. I'm a mid spender and i spend 1500 HC on this event, i Got 30 5 stars and finished 5 awakenings with new hero, I bought all 3 available CNY event packs and 2 monthly cards, which is more then 200e and I can't even finish one complete side of tample fair for P2W arti... So basicly all i got was 2 sublimation chest. Since this is big event, that's just awful. They want you to spend like 4-5k od euros\dolars just to complete one full event, that's just sick.

While I agree that the things you covered in this video are a bad reason to be complaining, that has nothing to do with why I think this is a bad event for f2p players. I have 1800 scrolls and could get to 2k by the end of the event without spending money, but it doesn't feel worth it. To get a sub chest from this event, guaranteed without RNG, you need to spend 1k scrolls and do 10 awakens. That is not good for f2p players. I can do it, i have all the resources to do it, but that doesn't make it good in comparison to other events. Spending 2k scrolls is actually the more reasonable thing to do this event because you still have to spend the 10 awakens but you get a lot more rewards for the combined amount of things spent. That being said, is spending all of your scrolls now the wise play? We don't know. Anniversary event is during the summer and tends to be one of the most insane events of the year. If we need another 2k by then, that's honestly a bit of a tall order for f2p players. Or maybe it isn't, they have been giving things out more frequently lately. We just don't know. So all I am saying is that in comparison to, let's say, Halloween this event is worse for f2p players. As a side note though, regarding how HS events used to be. Don't forget we didn't used to get pity summons either. 2k scrolls only guaranteed 4 copies of a new hero, not 8.
