I think, what is missing is, that we get a lot of candy from alliance donations. Even without the last box it's 37,5k each day, that's 225k over 6 days (actually it's seven days, because we had one day off between the milestones), plus 30 k (10k each refresh) each day over 6 days is another 180k (actually 7 days), plus some candy from the event milestones. So we do not need to refresh the candy store to buy more candy.
