A 20-60% buff is very doable annnd depending on your build, would be semi-op... I like it! It's really good for some situations, not all. I rolled up on a Prop BC & Terr Control, marked 3 or 4 and my Assault Drone just wiped em out in seconds...easy peasy

Unless say your in the DZ fighting npc's n then rogues come you could hit a few of the npc's you haven't hit wit the pistol and tag the rogue's however many with one shot n then switch to your primary. Other then that any other scenario won't see you getting that insane extra dmg...Anybody agree?

I think the only way this will work is in PVE with a full team so there max scaled targets. Hang back and shoot enemies from cover to build stacks, then once the stacks are filled, rush out, swap weapons, lay waste, then back to cover and repeat. Or, stay in cover with a rifle build and pick them off one by one. I dunno, gonna have to play with it and see.

I use it and it works great in PvE. Esepcially those missions where you have a ton of mobs that mass on you. Are you going to see max dmg and 200 percent? No, but running a kingbreaker I was hitting for well over 1.5 million a shot so it does works.

I think it is more focused towards playing mostly with the pistol mostly and killing enemies with it (pistol build viable). But upon getting in a clutch situation or when you see the pistol can't kill someone you just switch to a heavy hitter like a shotgun and finish them.

I think this has to be used in the right way, run and gun isn't viable with it or at least it's not the primary intention, I could see myself using this with a mid-long range build, marksman/sniper. Possibly with composure backpack and Overwatch or Head-hunter chest. Not great for most areas of the missions, but could be beneficial for taking on beefy named enemy scenarios or bounties. I think the duration of the stacks should be upped to 20 seconds instead of 10.

I think it's possible. I see it being a pvE weapon for higher difficulties in team play. Personally I think it would be a better talent if it increased damage for you (AND) your team.

I can see exactly one useful scenario for this pistol, and that's for solo players playing PVE who want a build that is both tanky AND capable of dealing good damage. run blue armor stats for extra armor and shield strength and pop enemies while using the biggest shield for the most durability and then switch to a primary weapon to beam down tougher enemies. It could be a decent damage dealing tank build if combined with the foundry set and forge holster, but it's not going to be the new hotness at all. This would be an amazing exotic if it worked differently, imagine if it only gave 15% per stack for five or six stacks but if you reach max stacks then the buff per stack doubles. Using 6 stacks as the maximum in that scenario your damage boost would be: 15 30 45 60 75 and then the final stack would technically give 90 but then since it's the final stack it would then double to 180 Keeping it very strong, but being more of an all or nothing style, you get smaller individual buffs but once you reach max stacks it becomes extremely powerful. Give it that high risk, high reward payoff.

In my opinion (as a dz player) if u use it correctly it's can be op af u can easily get a uper hand for a few seconds but if they decrease it then it's not really worth it kinda but if used correctly it's a free red core

I would honestly just shoot 2-3 enemies while behind the striker shield and swap and that’s it. Even 40-60% more damage is plenty for me personally

I don't think anyone cares to depend on getting full stacks. 1 shot landed is more than 1 red core. I plan on coming in (PVE) and landing a few shots before switching to primary. That's an instant 40% - 60% weapon damage boost for 10 seconds. Better than nothing. As it is, my sidearm serves no purpose. Using this is similar to using Orbit. It requires a little extra but its just a bonus.

Full buff? No, but stacking 2-3 then Big dps, can help people with... little dps, i am thinking example razor back, you shot your 2 ads then you switch, 40% more dps.. it can help. But you will lost too much time trying to max that buff for 10sec bonus... Just stack 2-3 time than use it. Rinse and repeat.

Realistically, I rarely switch weapons in combat. If I’m being rushed and I need to reload; or if it’s a boss fight… that’s about it. Swapping weapons just seems immersive breaking to me.

yeah it seems really situational. Its a good buff, I feel like it would be more applicable if they nerfed the values slightly and made it a team buff because then it would actually be a really good support weapon

This was painful to watch. I take it as it's not intended to be your primary option and not for a run and gun. Think of your armor regen build with bulwark shield. Start off from distance with the Busy Bee. Then switch to Kingbreaker and go to work. If your armor gets low, pull out shield while your armor regens. Take that time to put more rounds out with the pistol. It should compliment the build you're already running. And only switch to it when it is beneficial. Running in the middle of NPC's and popping rounds will end badly 100% of the time.

heres a real spoiler for the real veterans: stacks proc on downed players and skills. All of them. Including individual deployed traps. 10 stacks is definitely achievable in PVP, especially DZ considering all the adds. REGARDLESS, anything over 4 stacks is overkill anyway 😂 this pistol is absolutely GOAT’d

Best PVE application for this pistol is with Negotiators using the chest piece. five stacks should also result in five Negotiators marks. Then swap and unload 100% extra weapon damage for 10 seconds simultaneously across 5 marked targets. Come on kamikaze, wheres the creativity?

Out of all the equipment they “fixed”, they should have spent all of their time on this gun. This gun is is barely useful with a keyboard and mouse. No way you can get the stacks with a controller.

The devs killed this game . All the weapons and armor set perks are soooooooo boring. The Exotics all suck .99% Because there so afraid to make anything powerful because nothing else is. The Game sucks
