The 'Vietnam woman in a rice field' by Flux Ultra is not a typical 'oil painting'. In a typical oil painting you will recognize individual brush strokes, a macro shot will offer a 3-dimensional surface. The image by Flux Ultra rather looks like an aquarell or a flat wash or wet on dry couache.

Loved the video, Great job comparing it all. 03:17 Cinematic High Angle Shot got one more fault it is the right side hand on the left arm. 4:10 Cinematic Medium shot. Think this one got the wrong points. (Look above the thumb, There is a extra half finger)

Nice work... one thing... 10:30 is - you should test *unlit* candles. I find very few generators can do unlit candles in a prompt, Like a dozen unlit candles on a cake.

Nice comparisons, how about having multiple categories on all examples (prompt adherence, anatomy, overall "feel" etc) and scoring all of them separately? Then one could select a model based on which of these categories they need the most and which they're willing to sacrifice on, assuming there are clear enough categorical differences that is, every model gets points 0-100 on every category on every image

Hello thank you so much for great comment. Yes in my earlier videos where I compared Midjourney V6.1 vs V6 and FLUX I used this exact method with following categories: Prompt Understanding, Photorealism, Accuracy of Details (anatomy etc), illustrative, workflow. In this video, I focused more on practical applications. But I agree with you that above method can be also used.

I think you need to up your prompts. Just creating stock footage prompts is redundant. Maybe you should come in from a designer's perspective and introduce aesthetics/themes/culture/different decades/effects... Maybe take objects from there comfort zones and see how the realism collapses. -Man running through a hedge maze. -Speedway bike race on the moon. -2 monkeys scuba diving and finding list treasure at bottom of ocean. -Woman lying on her back reading a book in one hand and holding a wine glass in the other.

hey thanks for your comment. I had those abstract/unorthodox challenges in the past. This video focuses on practical use cases where novice users tend to try most of the time. I like your last prompt though. Definitely will try in future videos.

@cyberjungle I use these every day. It still struggles with ppl lying down. Ppl fighting. Action shots like chopping wood. Getting out of a car. Be interesting to see who wins the battle of the more extreme prompts. Still struggles like hell with physics and ppl on the floor.

What terminology? 😂 Prompts are super simple and jargon-free. All state of the art models must be competent with these camera angles. It's common knowledge.

@@cyberjungle Sure, but clearly they do not understand your terminology, and they ARE capable of doing it if they did. Anyway as a game designer myself... What makes it difficult to pick a favourite is their lack of user interface. Imagine stuff like being able to set the camera angle myself in a rudimentary scene composer.

it doesn't suck. nitpicking some areas where AI sucks does not mean AI sucks as a whole. AI image generation demolishes all artists. it can make photorealistic images in seconds. not even the best artists in the world can do that. cry elsewhere
