2:46 They used the playtest model for a long time, the reason for release is to have access to the steam workshop. Non released games aren't allowed to use it. Also, the bad reviews and first impressions are irrelevant right now, other than being pointers for what should be improved and how.

I think the battlebit approach works for a game like battlebit but for a game so based around modding and the community that forms around it its better to have it accessable anytime

In my opnion, they also need to enable anti-cheat by default and display the best server mods on top with abilty for users to like and comment on an indivisual mod, in other words this game will be Roblox but shooter style

they cant just enable it. It takes alot of work to add in and is being worked on. Also its one of many cheat prevention tools

@@benjamin_luscombe I mean you are right but I am pretty sure somewhere in the cast sea of the internet there must be some open source codes for anti cheat, since they are developers,they could put in some effort and modify it to their own needs,they could also try to do a collab with a company reputed in this stuff.

@ZackTactical34 The sdk was available, but not the steam workshop. Also you have all of this backwards. This project started because no one else was willing to do it. It's a passion project through and through. The mods are not lazy reskins, and those game modes are far from simple to make. You'd know this if you played any of them, or tried to create a game mode.
