Slowbro with resonant guard , potion and Amnesia is really nice , special when you stand on your point , you gain so much hp and ship its scary My second one is eldegoss with cotton guard and resonant guard, you just make your team so tabky its funny

The new item's shield saved Umbreon from dying to Scizor in 8:49 . Its like a mini Buddy Barrier every 10s.

i’m actually worried it’s way too strong. once people start to realize that it’s like the old buddy barrier, and that you can run it on every pokémon it’s gonna start to get out of hand. even on squishy pokémon like decidueye, at level 9 it’s reasonably granting 378 HP to both it AND and ally. that’s a free extra 756 HP every ten seconds. now imagine this item proccing multiple times from multiple teammates, on even tankier pokémon.

I've been replacing focus band with that item on my All rounders, and gotta say. It's great if you have teammates who dive with you.

Prefer dragon pulse goodra personally. Buddy barrier, resonant guard and focus band makes you pretty much unkillable as long as you aren't cursed and its funny because focus will hardly proc since the shield from guard makes it so you hardly lose hp in big fights. Goodra is super fun and i tried it yesterday and now see why its one of the most fun mons in the game. Hopefully the devs buff meowscarada before the event ends though cause its concept is great but cc and its burst is leaving a lot to be desired and it should have had lifesteal. They made her a melee adc without adding arachne to the game and didn't even give her lifesteal and more sustain as well as making her easily killed during her unite and she can't control how she moves during it when it has abysmal range? Her whole kit design is so wack. We need more fun mons and i would love to see a very high skill ceiling based defender come out one day. I love the new items a lot personally but i do think resonant guard is far better than charging charm and we are definitely in another tank meta.

Resonant guard pretty much doubles the shield scizor gets from bp+ at lvl 13. Its an extra like 550 health shield.

Rezonant shield is like buddy barrier for early game. Defenders that dont use buddy barrier and focus more on helping the team more then dealing damage (surf+pump blastoise for example) are great contenders for this item. Probably will be great item, but on specific defenders

Hey Cris, do you believe that Resonant Guard effectively replaces focus band on defenders? I understand attackers and squishies still running focus band, but it seems like on paper (haven't had the chance to try it yet) that Resonant Guard provides more utility. Thoughts?

yeah gooeey should work on unstopable target but do not slow them it kinda suck . thing you can do for clearing objective faster is muscle band / boosted auto or use your unite
