This deck is constructed like Mewtwo EX, an offensive EX basic pokemon backed up by a Stage 2 energy ramper on the bench! It's a mean brawler with some very strong draws!

I highly doubt they will reduce the RNG because they see pocket as a more casual approach to the TCG. Even my wife plays and kicks my ass sometimes due to RNG, and that's completely by design.

The best thing about celebi is that you can play all of your cards before you attack for lethal because you "could" flip all tails, so it's not BM

I like 1x Leaf to make Dhelmise retreat free when I need to shuffle around, also lets me leverage the HP a bit more while ramping

I think there’s a world where a less greedy Celebi deck running at least one Exeggutor EX shores up some weaknesses (while introducing some others ofc). Exeggutor EX Aggro felt crazy good to me last expansion, and that deck already ran Pinsir, so I think Celebi + Exeggutor EX can be worked out (with Celebi being better Pinsir) Side note, for other cards worth looking into this expansion, Scolipede and Leaf feel like the tools an all-in Koga Weezing strategy was missing to be viable. It’s the first deck in this game that has felt like I’m actually doing proper card game combos. Repeatedly shuffling around your Weezing to set up Scolipede nukes felt incredibly satisfying, way moreso than anything you could do with Muk.

My current version of this deck is: 1x Caterpie 1x Petilil, Lilligant 1x Snivy, Servine, Serperior 2x Celebi EX 2x Potion 2x Poké Ball 1x X Speed 1x Red Card 2x Professor's Research 1x Erika 1x Sabrina 2x Blue As a note, I eventually intend on swapping something to a second Erika, but I don't have that yet. The idea is that I can aggressively use Caterpie and/or Lilligant to set up Celebi and Serperior, let those two go down, and then use Celebi to reverse sweep - swapping out to the other Celebi if damage starts racking up or I'm forced to by an opposing Sabrina. What improvements would people suggest for this?

Is Driddigon a good basic blocker for that extra “slot” in a Mew Tew deck or similar role the basic Mew plays - making the attacker take 20 dmg if you are only playing it as a wall isn’t bad - Wall of swords! Mtg reference

At first I was really excited about this set but now I really dislike Celebi such power creep. This 130 health is really annoying. The Mewtwo ex just gets better. I hate basic ex being so good. Not fun anymore.

I like the deck. But I am not sure why you would refer to going second in Pokemon Pocket as "being on the draw"? Isn't it the first player who gets the small advantage of drawing the first card?
