They are kinda ugly to see on my screen tbh and when you turn that option on you no longer get the proper directional audio cues. The sound in general gets nerfed a little when you turn that option on cause it’s meant for people that are deaf or just have terrible hearing. I’d rather just hear things like I have been for years in games before fortnite ever came around.

I don't think it's a pay to win item. It may react to sounds like footsteps but it also seems to react to basic background noise so it would be difficult to distinguish the difference when other sounds are playing. Also in the video I could hear the other players footsteps before the pickaxe reacted so I would of probably reacted to the sound itself before the pickaxes movement.

I do see it as a bit of a problem with it detecting crouch walking but it definitely wouldn’t be used in Arena cause the pickaxe looks too big. If they were gonna nerf the pickaxe, they would make it react to JUST MUSIC not sound kinda like the marsh mellow pickaxe.

There is way too many noises happening in br map, and the pick axe picks up all those voices no matter what it is. So i say the chance of you knowing its players is really low, it can be animal, nature sounds, ufo sounds and… so id say absolutely not pay to win. Also you need to be completely still for that to work cause pick axe reacts to your foot steps aswell. And i mean you already hear things from game soo eh not really useful like at all just looks cool. Thx for the video
