And magneton looks like a strong supporting cast, it is basically the electric version of dusknoir in term of prize trades. I can see prize manipulation to hit with a briar combo

Imagine you get behind 2 prizes to 6, get a pikachu out and set up, briar for 3 prize cards, they can’t 1-hko you, than you pull briar out of discard and get 3 prizes again and win.

That Pikachu is insane, that is insane damage, also the fact that Pikachu can take a hit from full hp and then be scooped up with like penny or something with that ability. Also i cannot believe they made a buffed version of vs seeker as an ace spec! that is insane, already a good start for the next half of surging sparks.

I can put the basic pikachu tera in the regideck, add sparkling crystal or powerglass to this set for first attack or later game and i can instant KO High HP pokemon V or EX under 300 HP in the format. Lostbox can also benefit for the basic pikachu due to its massive 300 damage with defiance band, choice belt or max belt, if you ignore the weakness against fighting and its abilities, this might be the highest basic attacker in the S/V format. Many zard players will pissed a lot on newer sets that will be used against them, unless they can use it as an advantage.

No use jolttick accelerate one grass and one lightning to one Pikachu and accelerate one grass and one lightning to the other Pikachu That is the best way to power up Pikachu because you not just powering up one you're powering up two From there just use the A spec the cost down Pikachu or a once per turn metal energy would ought to be searched out for a variety of ways

Pikachu-Magnets package in Miraidon. Pikachu replaces Mewtwo as your AZU activator and then with the magnets you can use it to swing for 300 as a finisher at the end of the game.

Pikachu with max belt would be dealing 350 damage, one shotting every single card on the game. A deck with energy acceleration might be the best for pikachu

Gravity mountain will certainly see play. It's essentially a choice belt but is now unsearchable by arven. I think that's a fair design choice considering how easy tool cards are accessed because of arven.

I feel like the joltik we just got is better than terapagos for the pikachu. That lets you get a lightning and grass on 2 different pikachus so you have two attackers just one turn attach away

Use Pikachu and ogrepon as main combo. Use joltik as ur first attack to turbo up a couple pikachu. U then have sparkling crystal as a way to swing for just the two energy on Pikachu. That seems pretty meta to me plush the stadium being able to one shot charizard and they cant one shot you back seems wayyyy to good

The new spec would work for electric decks where you would recycle your electric generators to blast all in the table

This new ace spec is gonna be better for turbo Roaring moon ex deck. Cause with the Pokestop if your Prof sada vit gets discarded, you can bring it back to your hand, same goes for Boss for that deck. Btw there are some game breaking cards overhere especially that Pikachu and Megnamite

How does Stellar Crystal Ace Spec work on Pikachu? Since the text says "Discard 3 energy" and not "up to 3" does that mean you can't use Stellar Crystal to cheat the attack out with only 2 energy attached? Magneton letting you attach for a full attack and control prizes for something like Defiance Band so Pikachu can one shot Charizard ex or Dragapult without fuss is pretty damn good.

I think they’ve addressed this rule with a different card that also says discard three. You can still use the attack. You just discard all energy. Currently attached to it. Having the three energy to discard isn’t a requirement to use the attack. It’s just an effect that happens because of the attack.
