Great video. Now as for the prints go, print tailor is using Direct to film (DTF) printer transfers to achieve the full color prints. I own a dtf printer and I’ll tell you what, those things are amazing and are so cost effective. They’re technically only charging you for the garment. It costs $1 a square foot to make dtf transfers and they basically spent 50 cents to make 2 shirts for you lol. Just thought I’d share that information with you since you didn’t know what type of printing technology was used. Thanks for sharing!

@t-shirtcrusaders25473 жыл бұрын
@@lincolnward85 are you referring to price wise of the transfers or printers? Usually, print shops will upsell them for $5-10 depending on their overhead costs. Like I said it costs us $1 for a 12x12 in transfer and printers will easily sell that size for $5-7. I made some videos on that topic and listed some sellers too that sell at wholesale. Either way the technology has been around in the US for about a little over 2 years and a few years in China.

Shimmy, are u sponsored by them considering u have an affiliate link? As a Chinese myself and having worked with Chinese companies, they not only do it cheap for u, they take your designs and sell it elsewhere too. I had my shoe designs made by china manufacturer 8 years ago and i eventually see my own shoes in their showroom but made in different colors. The owner also told me yea, we make it for u at good price but we don't earn much so we need to make it up somewhere by selling your designs as our own to our customers in bulk. Your designs are nice. And he said it with no remorse, nothing. it's normal to them.

It's not an affiliate link, just a bitly link. I don't get money if you sign up or not. Thanks for this video 🥰 I’ve tried so many companies already and what annoys me every time is the horrendous shipping charge and sometimes even additional handling fees. It’s not making sense, and not attractive to customers. I’m in Ireland and for a simple T-shirt for example moteefe charged 11€ for the product, 4.99€ shipping, and 1.99€ handling. That’s 17.98€ all in all (15.21£ / 20.36$). I think something is wrong when shipping and handling is more than 50% of the original product price 🙁

yes when shipping is a lot, it's very very frustrating, especially now when shipping is free with so many companies. With this company the products are coming from China which is why shipping is a bit more, but the quality makes up for it in my opinion.

Hi. Its always nice to see a new P.O.D platform and what they have to offer us? I personally checked out thier company website and all thier products. They certainly have a good range of products and their prices are very very good indeed. But unfortunately thier shipping times were a bit to long with standard shipping 14 to 21 days, and to expensive for their fast shipping, I'm not sure what they charged you to ship your package to England? But from China to the United States was $24 dollars for 7 to 10 day ship time. That's very expensive for shipping and just to long for my customers to wait for thier items. Take care. Hawk out!!

Shimmy, I so appreciate you and your content, but you buried the lede on this one. I know you said overseas, but this company is from China and I believe everything is shipped from there. Perhaps this is more of an issue to me as an American, giving a Chinese company the business instead of supporting an American company and American workers. It's an issue much bigger than the scope of this conversation. I am happy for every person, regardless of nationality, to make a fair wage, but in this country, we need to support American industry and workers. As I said, it's incredibly tempting, but there is a bigger picture to be considered. Part of that is also an environmental issue.

Hey, what about them? That will be dependant on where it's sold, so if you connect to etsy, this will happen automatically depending on where you get a sale.

Wow, Thank you! I used your link to sign up, and these prices are so much better then printful... like $16 instead of $22 for hoodies and the sleeve prints are only $1 each (vs $6 each on printful). Definetly impressed with this service and I will be switching over in the next few days!

Shimmy, thanks for doing this! Question: what does the shirt label say about where they are actually made? Do you have any knowledge about where they are printed? The company website wasn't very helpful on this. When checking their printing rates page, they don't have a standard shipping rate for apparel to Europe, only an express option, which is quite expensive - $23-$25. I found this strange.
@shimmymorris13 жыл бұрын
They are made in China which is why they're so cheap yet the quality is so good. Shipping can be a lot, but for 1 item it shouldn't be that much

@@shimmymorris1 Thank you and I hope I explained it right, all over print sublimation, I have some amazing ideas but so far I've only found Yoycol print on demand that does it with 95% cotton 5% spandex, I would much more prefer this in a 90/10 blend. I've ordered 2 of my designs from them to see the quality. But they are based in China so shipping times worries me for customers in USA. Thanks!

@@shimmymorris1 I guess how much it was for overseas shipping from China vs domestic shipping? If you’re listing say a t shirt and charge the $4.50 it would cost to ship cross country but the shipping from China to ship said T shirt is say $10 well that’s important information. Don’t get me wrong I think its worth looking at the company and thank you for sharing, just trying to not get an ugly surprise at checkout.

Where overseas is the company based? I like to trace the money see what it is I'm supporting. Colours look great so far...thank you for testing product and making this video! Really, really appreciate these kinds of reviews. 👍 This video is bang on! (Wouldn't mind that white hoody, very nice design...love the colours!) Oftentimes I won't buy heatset prints unless it's the only option for colour of fabric ( such as a pink hoody for example), I much prefer embroidered designs but this looks like the kind of quality I'd buy if I was to buy a printed design...I don't mind disperse inks as they penetrate deep into the fabric ( mostly synthetics though). I would have liked to have seen the jumpers go through 10-15 washes but I definitely think looks like the kind of quality I'm looking for. Wonder how complicated one could get with designs? 🤔

These are from China. 10-15 washes would have been idea, but that would have taken a very very long time to do
