the way its made is kinda simple but smart at the same time Roblox pants textures are made out of 2D images and the way they make it 2D to 3D is placing parts of the model over the 2D parts to tell roblox where it should go Wherever the 3D part is placed the 2D part under it will show there You can zoom into the textures alot in a random area to get a single color and make it color changing thats also how they made the Minecraft package execpt they did it multiple times

I believe how it takes the color is since it’s a body pack- not overlay or an accessory- it takes brings the simple colors and removes the designs bringing it down to the skates, coloring them. This is how I’d assume it works frfr

Wonder if this was achieved through how the uv-mapping was positioned, maybe on a roblox humanoid all the textures get combined into an art mesh and the UGC creator found the order in which the clothes are put alongside accessories. (Noticed how if you have a lot of accessories, some will be blurrier/pixelated as if their textures were resized to fit in a 1024x1024 file)

i did some experimenting with this item and i think i found a reason for why it works like this. the actual skate part without the wheels takes the color of your feet (the bottom of your leg) and i think the wheels take the color of the part right above. the little stub at the beginning does the same as the wheels but only directly above it. ik thats really confusing but im pretty sure thats how it works.

if you buy the bundle make sure you have either the OldSchool Anim Pack or the Mage Anim Pack! Both look good / sorta like you're actually skating. edit: also make sure you're wearing long pants or shorts that have leg warmers / stockings, otherwise the skates will be the same color as your skintone.
