I feel like you really should have had Phyrexian Obliterator in the deck, play Surprise on their turn, ETB the Obliterator and have it immediately block their biggest creature.

Mockingbird is such a hilarious card. It's basically, "consider any non-legendary monster in your line up as x5-8 instead of having just 4. Oh, you can also copy sheodred... lmao" I've had people rage quit when I would b2b2b deepcavern bat with said bird xD

This work really well with 2 Vein Rippers instead of one Ghalta and one Rex.👌🏼 The fact that its a flyer and its ward ability are really strong. Since there is no other way to block flying creatures in this deck.

Thanks for bringing a unique take on the meta. I absolutely love this game but have stopped playing due to the matchmaking formula - it’s just not fun any more to play when the game is manipulating what deck you play and your mana. Still enjoy watching your content though 😊

Idk, right now I also see boros tokens way more than mono red. And my Crab deck performs pretty bad against token decks. :/
@SlothMtg2 ай бұрын
Boros is around 2-3% of meta, mono red is at 27%, so if you see more boros, thats pure matchmaker magic 🤷♂️

Your comment about going like 80% win rate then loosing pretty much all of your matches afterwards really echoes my experience with Arena. I had a pretty sick mono black deck with 80% win rate over 12 matches, then the following week, I played it again and lost 10 matches in a row. It really shows how rigged the matchmaker is.

I dont know if its just me, but man winning with Ramp is difficult. Like im either getting completely flooded with land and only ramp spells. Or the complete opposite im sitting there with four 7 drops in my hand and no lands. Like its not even that i loose against aggro, thats just whatever. But i am loosing to midrange as well, because by the time i finally manage to get to my lands im already completely out of the game.
@SlothMtg2 ай бұрын
Ramp decks are very draw dependend, as you need lands+ramp+payout. So it's like combo deck with 3 moving parts. So yeah, I think your experience is pretty much expected from this kind of deck. For control decks it is a bit similar, as you need lands on curve +removal (vs aggro) OR counterspells (vs Non-Aggro). Some decks just have more moving parts than others, so they feel a bit dicier. One of reasons mono red took over standard, they rarely have bad draws, as most cards do the same thing basically

I'm seeking for decks, that are able to withstand mono reds, which are 8 of 10 right now in meta. And it's sad not to see any single one in your video. No wins against them?
@SlothMtg2 ай бұрын
I made deck that pretty much always wins vs mono red, we have many builds aimed at them, but that one is literally extreme ;) Check it out - mono black with virtue+annoint with affliction thumbnai if I recall

@@SlothMtg From my experience, anti-aggro-decks get aggro decks less often. What is sad, that is kind of manipulation and is unfair to players. Your observation?
@spaljenimaslacak76632 ай бұрын
That thing you said T1 aggro players only play autowin games, very true, absolute degeneracy, like imagine playing chess with a dude that surrenders on turn 2 and is immediately like: "AGAIN !" 😂
