It used to be only purple or gold ammo that would penetrate walls as effective as that but now all ammo is purple so i'm assuming you can easily take someone out with a M1911 through a wall with no damage change

@@lappinho6564 damage does change, but the more powerful the gun is, the less damage it reduces when penetrating an object

I’m mostly devastated about the m14 iron sight mega zoom being taken away. I loved that zoom. Got me an unbelievable about of headshots that way

Hi I'm new to the channel just subscribed but I got about 50 hours in vigor on pc and from what I've found the Famas/Bugel F1 Is pretty good and most assault rifles and SMG's are also good as of the latest patch. Hope this helped.

Hey Lappinho, great summary, thanks. Yes it feels like a new game now with the changes. But overall I like it. The new map is more a camping map, but it is beautiful and in teams a lot of fun. Concerning the LMGs I do not fully agree. Some are unusable, but the M249 is still too good, even with the (little) reduction of damage. The new pistol is a lot of fun and really good, I really like it. SMGs are really good and fun now. The ADR is now really good and I like it, and with the bullets less expensive, a lot of people will use it. the PA assualt rifle is really great now and people start using it. Stamina is really drowning fast, but it makes it harder for sweaty people, which is good. At least if they dont use Adrenalin and Coffeine. Bugle is now really nice with the lower shooting speed.

I've not tried the weapons in game yet but in the shooting range the LMGs feel like they would be way too inconvenient to use. They would probably be great for living in a bush though as you can ADS from standing or crouching now lol. I have noticed a lot of Pa's that gun was so terrible before this update so I'll have to try it out. What you think of the new U.I like having to hold square to pick things up and the ammo all being the same colour etc? that alone is gonna take some getting used to for me 🤣

@@lappinho6564 Yes, the changes are big and I also have to get used to it. Overall I think it makes sense, since looting should not be running past something and picking it up. Now you need to think what you loot and where, otherwise you could be easily picked up. Opening a door is strange, so either keep it and make a fast opening (kick in) available or have a mechanism that once you have opened it already, it will be quick. Also there you might get killed by using it, so better keep doors open 😉

Well crap.. this video has made me miss this game so much 😭 I quit around Chronicles: Damnation because the Devs wasn’t focused. I admit this update seems solid, but I haven’t reinstalled the game just yet. I love the style of your videos. Back when I covered the game I would’ve praised a channel like this. I definitely think since the update the sound of your own character's footsteps are louder - which makes it harder to hear enemy footsteps while moving

You can run FPS on or off when ADSing on any gun. I haven’t played a 3rd person and in like 20 years but randomly gave this a try a few days ago and I’m hooked

I feel like the shotguns were NERFed, for example with the Remy in close range it takes more than one bullet to take another one down or the spred is wider.

The threat symbol turns white if you are alone, I believe (as per your comment around 14.20 in the vid).

I think what happened was I had too many symbols at once; threat, airdrop and jammer.. I think it can only fit 2 😂 Also I think when it flashes between red and white is when your latest location is refreshed on the map for other players

I feel like this game is hot garbage now. I hate that every time you take a hiatus and come back, you're pretty much playing a different game each time. Nothing is consistent except for the retarded changes to guns. I'm kinda big on realism, and the weapons in-game reflecting real life performance, but I also understand the need for game balance. Imagine how surprised I was when I saw the fire rate nerf for guns like the MG3 and the Famas among many others lol it never was the fire rate alone that made guns like the Famas broken, it was the fact that it was stupid accurate at all ranges instead of just being a strong cqb and medium range pick. Overall I'm kinda just disappointed with the weapon changes. I don't see the need to nerf the rifles by taking away all of their reticles. Some certainly needed it for sure, but the Gewehr, a fully automatic battle rifle? Or the VSS? Or the M2 carbine? Or the non-scoped rifles in general?? I don't know what Bohemia is on, but they need to figure their shit out. The game's been out for years and they still can't find a cozy spot for their weapons. It's more funny to me than it is actually engaging anymore, and I hardly find myself loading into Vigor for the purpose of having fun as opposed to just making fun of it and deleting it for another year and wondering what happened with all of its potential. That's the end of the schizo post, hope someone enjoyed lol
