Calm down sewing police! The lady is simply demonstrating a technique and how one might apply adornments. She isn't going for the perfect Matchy match pumpkin, and so what there's some loose threads. And yes I'm guilty of sewing over pins occasionally 😮The technique is beautiful, and I can think of several ways to utilize it. Great video!

I love this. I am making mine in Valentine Day colours. I have to laugh about the pin thing. Been sewing over pins for 50+ years 😅. Still have my eyes, my original machine still works great. Yep, I have broken some of my needles over the years. 🤷‍♀️ There are times to sew with pins in or dont sew. I love your colour palette. It absolutely works. And who cares about the decorations. I am going to stuff a couple hearts, buy some cupids from the dollar store and tie some appropriate candy on it for the lads to have. Thanks for the great video and instructions. ❤❤

You can not live your life on what other people think. No one is perfect. My thought is if someone says a negative comment about you, use it instead to see what you can do to improve your life. If you seriously think about it in a positive way, you will realize Quilters do this all the time. We see how our projects come out, and if they don’t come out the way we wanted, we don’t give up. We improve. Snd negative comments, although not nice, they do help us improve. That’s what life is all about! Keep living.

Shouldn't sew over pins the needle could hit one and break and it could end up in the eye

NO, take those pins out. Not only will you break your needle, but because your machine is like a computer, it will screw up your timing inside your machine. You will have to take it in to get it repaired.❤
