Dank I just tested Tower Myself and IT HAS A MASSIVE BUG. So basically DONT upgrade ur tower while Firework tech ability is active if ur tower gets any sort of detection from that upgrade because if you do. the game will consider it Not permenant and get rid of that detection whenever firework techs ability wears out, and you will not be able to get that detection back

The chance for firework is based on firerate like minigun has very low chance but max ranger without firerate buffs has a near 100 prescent chance

According to corso's vid useing any tower is fine bc the percentage chance for a tower to shoot a fire work is based on there attack speed (Mini: around 2% and Ranger: around 60%)

I kinda wanted a tower that gave buffs like the btd6 MIB village. It is balanced because it can give those abilities at the start of new rounds only. Plus its dps purposes have quite the potential especially when the range track of dj is used on it and the ranger buff. It will probably cover the whole map almost. Anyways good tower. 9/10

Nah I think it goes every shot. I’ve tried it a bunch. Actually, I can confirm that it does. I was able to get roughly 2k dps with it using burst, and with enemy stacking got up to 20k dps I was using g soldiers.

in all seriousness, this tower is extremely impractical without the absolute perfect circumstances. it takes up one slot just to have the potential of 1/2 mortar. the literally under five second passive ability of gaining all detections won't solve the problems of lacking detection. the only thing i can see this tower being somewhat useful are very specific speedruns. however to an average person, this tower is horrible.

​@@Beanman87 unironically, this tower sucks dude, only *slightly* good when hyper buffed (which, bassicly no one does it outside of sandbox) and it's an entire slot wasted down with ONLY 1 Placement limit, it sucks, and the buff only lasts for an slight time (which, even with all detections, it sucks due to it's underwhelming time), and it's absurd price to actualy DO something. snowballer is just an meme tower at best (worst dps in the game, and snow effect sucks even worst than any other freezinf tower), which, both got NO pratical uses, and they Both suck.

It literally gives all 3 detections and a chance for towers to fire a rocket that does splash and burn damage. Initially, that wouldn't seem impressive but consider how it would be used, especially with fast-firing towers such has Accelerator and Minigunner. Due to their firing speed, RNG wouldn't matter much as they'd be firing A LOT of fireworks. Add these 3 detections to the equation, and you're having an overpowered tower that can do anything. The 40s detection duration doesn't even matter when the average wave completion time is between 50s-1min. The low range and one placement limit are necessary to hold this tower back. Firework Technician makes Hardcore a total joke, despite being one already.

Get ranger, hunter (yes he is viable sometimes), mortar. Need lead (this is pointless but I should include this): ranger (again), pursuit, mortar (again, military base and mercenary base (riot shields or grenadier) I mean there is no point why have a load out of something like: firework technician, commander, ranger, golden soldier and turret for a gamemode like fallen mode. Firework technician can easily be swapped out for a dps or another support like dj, farm or mini gunner or accelerator. There is just no point of it and the ring attacks is just bad gameplay wise for example: it’s wave 31 in fallen you have right now 5 level 3 golden crook bosses, 4 level 4 mortars, firework technician, and max out commander. You can are going to heavily rely on firework technician giving out the firework damage but if you replace for something like a maxed out military base it would do a lot better that situation so overall it is easily replaceable and unneeded in almost all load outs.

Perhaps, but if so then it could be said for Commander and other support towers with a few exceptions. Why buff fire rate of a specific type of tower, when you could just switch out Commander for another DPS? That actually works, replacing a support for DPS, but only works efficiently in solo. Placement limit and eco play a huge role in deciding this. In Fallen solo, one would often bring one, or no more than two, support towers: Early DPS, DPS, DPS, Support, Support. Due to the higher eco and placement limit, this allows for more DPS towers which are generally costly. In contrast, however, matches with higher player count reduce eco and placement limit, so you can't bring much DPS. That's where support towers come in, and in context, Firework Technician. Placing many Rangers to counter flying enemies while your defense usually comprised of Accelerators and Golden Minigunners is EXPENSIVE. Instead, you can just place a Firework Technician to buff your present defense which isn't expensive in comparison to placing many Rangers. It's cheaper to place Firework Technician to counter certain enemies without needing to place other towers, due to economic restrictions imposed. You could say "Oh sure, but other players can have towers to counter these?" Perhaps, but there are situations where it'll be useful; if your teammates farm early while you're forced to defend without proper towers, Firework can be useful. Or your matchmaking teammates just suck and have no proper towers to counter them, Firework can be useful. The firework system is flawed and unreliable due to RNG but, once again, if you're using fast-firing towers, it's guaranteed they'll cause a lot of explosions. Keep in mind, I'm talking about its use in games with higher player counts. Yes, you're right about Firework Technician being replaceable but only when speaking about solo or possibly duo. Personally, I wouldn't see myself using Firework Technician much but it's cool. Honestly, I wouldn't see it as a new meta tower due to the RNG elements, like Necromancer.
