The Grey Spire grants up to 300% increased global damage, though you do lose the sockets in exchange. I could see it being about the best option until a really good rare.

@@dreamcore_gg I was also thinking that cold conversion might be the best route with Occultist, as you could stack power charges and scale area and crit. Another option is Grace of the goddess DW wands. as that has the potential to give you 90% extra elemental dmg per want. The only other thing I can think of would be battlemage, which I dont think can apply to the corpse explosions sadly.

Aukuna's Will gloves also work. Your Zombies count as corpses and you can scale their health pretty reasonably. Need to get around casting Zombies though.

Use the wand that makes your zombies not require a corpse to raise, and they count as corpses and scale minion life. IDK if the zombie would be consumed by the explosion, but let's assume it is. A CWC Cyclone Zombie setup would keep you at full zombies between cooldowns. Mana could be solved with EB or life costs.

So chieftains can explode corpses ro explode enemies to explode screens And he can uses the unique sceptre to use constant vaal skills and use the summon enemies vaal to spawn a bunch of enemies on bosses to just explode everything?

I've actually been looking into building in general's cryville, with some really dumb things like tectonic snaking, or molten strike of the zenith, for the memes. But I only want to do it if I can make it fully automated, no button presses

If I had not just started my third build this league being my forever scaling build for the league, ES stacker. Then I would have considered this build. Global crit is a decent path to take in my quick estimation. I already got some really nice ES gear. 470es shield, spent 1div on that, buying a Titanium base with 105% inc es fractured. My body armour is amazing, with spell supp, 600es, 3k evasion. And 3 white sockets, (Can't use this yet). Got 5 synth cobalt jewels with 3% inc sword attack speed. That is free 15% inc attack speed. Great stuff. So currently lvl 70, and I have 8k es. It is not great but it is a start.

i found this is super usefull for mapping with a slam chieftain build, im relying almost entirely on warcry for my tankiness so i need to cast them all the time, but sometimes you get caught with your pants down so to speak and die but this helm lets you be able to fight while your warcying and buffing up, which prevents you from getting swarmed, its extra glorious when you proc hinekoras with it lol.

I didn't consider it being used in a normal slammer build, interesting, I can see what you mean killing mobs while you're not attacking/warcrying does seem useful

This was weak even in Affliction league. I know because I made a fully min-maxed ignite version and ran dps calculations on the hit based versions as well. 5 mil dps for all that effort isn't really worth it. The scaling options are even worse this league. The same nerfs to corpse life meant to target the DD meta also eliminated any chance of this build being viable this league. The % corpse life damage would have to be around 35% base on the unique helmet to be anywhere close to viable this league.

my friend is Doing CoC Phys to fire convertion with warcrys as buffs that slots so well into that build Converting to fire and igniting is one of rutes scaling damage - than you scale generic phys generic fire and DOT thou you loose on overlaps

Little bit of autoexertion tech: while autoexertion is active, when you slot a new warcry gem into the link, it will immediately add to the reservation and trigger it. You can use this to stagger 2-3 cries allowing for as low as 0.5 sec between cries, maybe even lower. However, this resets between zones assuming all of your warcries have the same CD.

I had made few versions of the build in affliction league with semi automated forbidden rite socketed inside wand with trigger when cast a spell every 4 seconds mod and that apple shield. The problem was that there is not many ways to scale the damage for the build. You had to get +4 helmet + empowered + enhance to raise unearth levels for single target dps. However, map clear did feel nice and effortless . Best version I had was occultist with ming heart to convert as much damage as possible to chaos and some elegant hubris minion damage scaling. 24% of corpse life as damage was acceptable, but now 10% max roll is way too low, besides you lose helm slot too.

Damn I didnt realize the 15% healing on warcry use doesnt work with automation. That really sucks because it was a large part of my defensive layering when I had generals cry on left click. I still hate the no active abilities on left click change.

Yeah those changes hurt a lot of builds but General's Cry builds (and corrupting cry) are probably at the top of that list

@dreamcore_gg to be fair, my generals cry earthquake of amplification build has some insane scaling potential, but it always came at the cost of some defenses. To recover the defensive potential of the heal on war cry is going to cost me 12-30 mil dps off my 150mil top end. At least I can run it as a full physical impale instead of needing to tech into phys to cold to fire to hit 100+ mil dps.

If it's not instant you can still war cry on left click. I've been doing it to proc ancestral cry for the max res. You just need 3nough war cry recovery speed and buff duration.

@@MrShadowRaiden yes but I've had trouble sharing pob on youtube. Basically its a Marohi Erqui Slayer build with full investment into two handing and impale. Earthquake of Amp on generals cry autoextert with more duration, melee phys, brutality and cyclone of tumult shockwave, cast while channeling desecrate using "the stampede" unique boots to remove the movement speed penalty. The Magnate unique belt for double and triple damage chance. Get a single mace mastery for the +12% chance of double damage for attacks longer than 1 second which will apply to the aftershocks. Precision, flesh and stone, blood and sand, pride for auras. War banner. Frostblink with hextouch vulnerablility. Blood Rage, Berserk, Steelskin. Anoint the duelist impale node and flame/flesh the champion impale node. You only need the warcry CD wheel. Get a little bit of attackspeed two hander nodes to make the mirage attack time faster than your warcry cooldown and you are gravy. I suggest keeping the earthquake aftershook around 4.5 seconds, you can scale harder with anoited duration nodes but it makes it clunkier. Unwavering stance and Iron reflexes for anti stun and armor. Get the basic + max ele resist nodes for some basic defenses. A single point in rage gain on hit is enough to make use of rage. Its a fun build with lots of automation and huge bursts of damage but a little squishy. If you find a boss is dodging your aftershocks, you can switch to sand stance for extra AoE which will usually make the difference at the cost of dps. Slayer execute and anti boss damage and the hits and impales ignore PDR nodes make this build really shine.

Crimson Iron Bar(unique/armour), Thaumaturgic Dust(loot multiplier), potentially also Verisium Bar(Te Onui, random uniques, might be a unique multiplier). You're right, I could have said it but I also think Ziggy's video is great and should be watched

I am late to the party but I used the charms in a build with cold convert and brittle scaling. Was crit capped and would insta kill every boss with self casted warcries. It was so unreal.

Could this be combined with Corrupting Cry? Corrupting blood is also phys, and this seemingly is a low socket pressure build. Could just be some added damage on top

You could use corrupting cry support if you wanted to, you'd need to focus on global %phys modifiers to damage then, or generic damage increases, but I could see it

It's possible, but six link corrupting cry is a fragment of what 4 link corrupting cry used to be in just crafted +2 aoe gloves. I had a few corrupting cry guides out... And i abandoned the skill after 3.24 nerfs, and it did not get better in 3.25

I guess i should elaborate. The issue with corrupting cry is that while you get great clear, you need a high single target skill. And a wix link was needed to match close to the old 4L. But then you'd be getting rid of your sixlink in chest that was needed for your single target. It's probably fine as a supplementary phys dot in aoe gloves while using this helmet, but don't full invest in it
