I love the fact you play a Strat, most comfortable and utilitarian guitar. Great playing here, totally relaxed. I find that covers are difficult because your imitating someone's natural style and personality, but this looks and sounds exact man

The strat has always been my go-to guitar. Most of the other videos i've seen of this song have tried really hard to sound like Johnny Marr, whether it be playing playing his guitar or using his pedals. I just try to play how he plays. I sit and try to listen to every note and understand where he is playing them on the neck. After years of listening to 'The Smiths' I feel like I have come to understand his playing (as much as I can). And you're right, it isn't easy to imitate someones playing style so I do appreciate the kind words! Cheers
