Mainly more so recently, I understand It can be considered as "lame" but buttoning is crewmates ONLY SOLID win condition so I can understand you disliking it and saying "It's boring because not playing the game" but buttoning IS playing the game and Is apart of It, I do apologize for the amount the button is hit but that isn't easy to control as people play the way they want :)
