It does work. You just need to not pick the option that gives the trotters SPD buffs because the middle trotter will run immediately (or you can just start the fight with full energy)

I've killed the middle trotter in V6 about twice now. Some gold equations can also kill for you.

it worked for me in V6, maybe if the run was not lucky and you have way too little break support, the damage wont be enough but I cleared alot of the 3 trotters in V6 before with this blessing
