joyboy had the Nika fruit. devil fruits are not named based on their abilities/qualities, the devil fruit name IS the actualy ability/power. Ideas/believes give birth to devil fruits, the legend of Nika gave birth to the nika fruit. Its possible that Nika might have never actually existed, but joyboy actually 100% existed and most likly had the Nika fruit.

1. Joyboy is a person that was is void century. Nika is the legacy/avatar that follows for the user of Gomu gomu fruit in its final form i.e. Awakening. So, for Gorosei it's always been nika and they were not able to get that fruit. 2. The ponegliph were on Mariejoe and in void century they were scattered to different places. Even kuma cannot bypass the red line. He has to go through Mariejoe to visit another half of grandline. The red ponegliph were made from redline stone since they cannot be destroyed and only kozuki clan had the knowledge to carve them. So lili might have dispersed them but someone from kozuki clan carved them. 3. Since Joyboys awakening can turn anything into rubber, he would be able to stretch out the redline in someway disturbing the grandline and all seas. I think so, that was the promise he was trying to fulfill to get the Fishman at the top of the ocean and remove the redline. For some reason all the whales in grand line are trying to do the same, to destroy the redline.

I always thought thinking of the D. Clan as a strict blood relation was weird. The whole show is about found family and the connections you make. It makes so much more sense that anyone can become a D. And carry on in their way. Especially with how you bring up the sharp contrast to the strict blood line drive Celestial Dragons.

To me it seems obvious that the D stands for Nika's smile and is the moniker of Joyboy's Crew. Their mission probably was to free the slaves in order to cut their reason for crying, and each of them transmitted this mission to their first child, down to each of the Ds we know. This theory is both silly and very noble, quite Oda style isnt it? We've already seen 8 D lines, 3 yet to go to parallel Luffy's crew. Sabo seems to be considered inheriting the D Ace couldnt pass down. I'm absolutely convinced this will end up happening: since Luffy is a proxy for Joyboy he probably was a pirate too thus had a crew, and the Ds seems way too few to be descendants of a whole clan, Oda likes to make everything parallel so it has to be something like that.

I like to think Nika never existed, showing us that dreams are more powerful then any one human, the need for freedom by these slaves created Nika, The embodiment of freedom, not a person. JoyBoy in this case would be the first carrier of the Nika freedom and would try to fulfill the dreams of all slaves, going island to island freeing everyone there just like Luffy has been to then be confronted by the highest powers in thw world government. Nika isnt a person but the idea, as long as someone has the heart and willpower to do so anyone can be Nika. The fruit Luffy has can be simply explained using this idea.

Remember what Sabo name is Sad Boy. If luffy is Joy Boy and Sabo is Sad Boy. What do you think ace is. So here is something you don't know. The parents of the kids play a huge role in the story. Luffy mom is most likely a CD. While Ace mom most likely had the nika fruit and his farther was the PK. Then Sabo family was noble royalty. They could inherit that kingdom, but he is more a symbol of the rest of everyone else. They are all Sad Boys. Like he is. So you have a merging of the 3 factions of the world here at this moment when they shared Sake. You have the CD joining with the PK joining with the regular people. At the start of one piece. Ace is a lose of the PK clan. But luffy carries that onward while carrying the CD clan with him. Then you have sabo. Look where he went. The revolution Army. Wow. Wouldn't assume a person who is a symbol for the common people. Would be the one to be leading that army so crazy................ O he is with luffy's dad. LOL perfect plot. Just shows you how oda already know at the start that these 3 would be linked like this. The lose of Ace shows a lot of break down into the story. Where luffy now has to carry the title that ace was suppose to bare. That is why WB wanted to keep him around and loved him. He was raising him to be the PK. But ace was a Sun that couldn't smile while he died. Until he seen luffy and realized the truth he had forgotten. But it was to late at that point. Now sabo is the Sun for the common people. Why luffy is Sabo sun. Why Sabo is being blasted all over the world right now.

Currently it is assumed that the dreams and desires of people in the past, became the today known devil fruits abilities. Back in the day there probably were no fruits and how the powers were then transfered into fruits is still unclear. We will sadly have to wait and see. Maybe there was one wish or desire that turned the abilities into fruits.

Luffy didn't inherit the will of Nika imo. I believe he is Nika and in laugh tale he will find a time machine and the story of his previous self (on the poneglyphs) telling him what he did wrong when he time traveled to the void century and how to fix it this time. I think the One piece universe is currently living in a loop like the netflix series "Dark" and Luffy travels back to the void century every single time, becomes joyboy, but fails. I think eventually, a new variable is going to be introduced that will help break the loop and the next time (this time) Luffy goes back in time, he will actually win the war against what would later become the World Government. The question is, what is the variable? Perhaps, this is the first time, Luffy leaves behind poneglyphs and instructions for the next loop's Luffy, meaning the real MVP of the story won't actually be the Luffy we've been watching all this time, but the Luffy that lived before him

I don't believe there will be time travel in the past or a time loop in One Piece! The story of One Piece is about inherting wills, dreams and about freedom. Having a Luffy from the past starting the whole plot would just not make any sense with these major themes in mind!

Decent video for a growing channel. Feedback: The first 10 minutes or more is a series of facts just told to the viewer like a recap. Little of it has to do with Nika being a slave. I see you're trying to lay the groundwork and build up, but it's a lot of unnecessary set up for a simple theory.

Thanks for the feedback! You have to lay a groundwork for the theory and you can't assume that anyone in the audience knows every character or has every reference for the character memorized! There is definitly room for improvement of how much to include and how much to let out. But the whole video is more about Nika and Joy Boy and his role in the story. Not just the theory :)
