yeah surprised he didn’t give it a like. think those types of levels are legitimately good. it redefines challenging in a way that people are used to “challenging” levels aren’t accustomed to edit: while still being approachable. like that last level was BS. perfect dichotomy between a level that uses hidden blocks effectively, and a level that uses them to screw the player unfairly

11:15 This has got to be one of my favorite levels in mario maker. It's like what critics for other forms of media would call "outsider art." It's so different than everything else out there that it seems foreign and unfair at first glance, but with time you see it has its own simplicity and style to it. I spent like an hour going through GPB's vids to find it after having watched it months ago and I find myself shocked that it was worth the search.

Giant Mario (or Toad) has a larger hitbox, which can extend into walls (or spikes) for the brief moment that you are becoming big. Carl did a Troll level a few weeks ago that used the same effect in a much more interesting way (the second time you get sent back to CP1 gives you the flag which was hidden inside a wall instead, because you get giant while approaching from a different location while already big-- it's a crazy setup and really awesome)
