That’s super nice for them all electric lakes, if I had to fish them type of lakes I would definitely get one because that’s probably the nicest one I have ever seen

NS130 definitely feels closer to fishing kayaks. The TBN Air Skiff/Lite Skiff is bigger volume and feels more like a more portable Jon boat substitute. Also the Lite skiff has more robust hull underneath. That being said I like the tracking slightly better on NS130 and it is slightly less susceptible to bow drift with high wind during motoring. If I could have only one it would be hard choice but probably would do Air Skiff/Lite Skiff because it is bit more of a true two person or small family boat.

You mentioned a lack of places to run wiring, if you look under the floor, there are loops to run wiring front to back.

How realistic would it be to deflate the NS130 after each trip due to amount of time it takes to set up and break down the side rails, trolling motor, outboard, inflation, etc? Would I be spending an hour+ at the lake to just get on the water with all the essentials
@TinyBoatNationАй бұрын
It only takes time to initially assemble them. Once you assemble the front piece it’s just five pieces that fit into grooves plus the seat. It becomes repetition. What would take long is pumping the tubes up so if you have an automatic inflator, it’s quite easy.
@ReelinfloridachannelАй бұрын
The NS130 is certainly nice! I tested it at Icast. I hope to have one eventually
@TinyBoatNationАй бұрын
You won’t regret it.
@slacktide_anglerАй бұрын
I’ve fished in inflatables for awhile and sharp dorsal spikes on some fish will do a number on your tubes. Won’t put you in danger but next time you wash your boat down, you’ll notice bubbles inflating all over your boat that you’ll have to glue or patch. I’ve since installed little bungee ties on both tubes to hold my net handle across them. That way I can leave any spiny fish in the net off the side of the boat while I get my tools to deal with it.

Thanks very much for the video! Recently purchased the NS 130 after selling my kayak. Fish rivers/creeks in TN and the Everglades in FL. Thoughts on foot steering on the NS? Seems all with inflatables west of Mississippi go with trolling motor vs kayak motor with foot steering. Thanks

Nice video, very informative. I was wondering how you would compare this to something like a bass raider (pond prowler). Oh, I was also wondering if that was a Yeti 35 or 45

Not downing the boat. Love their products as I have their nk180, but after you stated that you were skeptical about a fish fins possibly puncturing the boat. Well not worth it for me.

All in for one equipped like your, how much? Living in the South where it gets pretty hot, how well does this material hold up in the sun? I have had my kayak out in the sun for 5 years and very little sign of wear.
@TinyBoatNationАй бұрын
External components very. You can make this rig effective for a lot cheaper It holds up really well in the sun. You just have to put 303 protectant on it every so often. They do better in humid climates versus dry climates.
@kongxiong6005Ай бұрын
I have done inflatables. Not going that route again. Get a small boat a two-man boat like a prowler eight. Small compact you can pretty much store it most places. Put a towel on top of your car throw the John boat up there strap it down

Could you get away with just a trolling motor with the autoboat head and not in addition to an electric outboard like the NT300?

Yes. You go about 4 1/2 miles an hour with a 45 pound. Probably around five with a 55 pound if you get 100 amp hour battery 12 V you would last very long time.
