This man is the definition of a beautiful soul. So well spoken, the last minute of him speaking about the sticking with your passion and things falling in to place gave me serious goosebumps. I’m an artist and he just confirmed so many thoughts i have in my head. I love him. The kind of man i dream to sit down and have a conversation with. Beautiful video. ❤️

So true. I never cared how long I lived until I started painting at 60. Now at 64 I want to live at least 20 more years so I can at least get close to my potential. Watercolors. Took a whole 2 years to just figure out water control. Lol. Great house.

@annette fournier...I'm not an artist, but just reading your comment really warmed my heart. You are in your older years, but yet you went for it and I commend you. I'm in my mid 50's and I don't have a clue what I want to do. I too, hope that you live another 20 yrs. I also pray that you continue in your endeavors.

He reminds me so much of my Choctaw grandmother. She taught, then retired to a cabin on a lake in the woods. Because of her, I dearly love and will miss my current rural life when I relocate to a suburban environment. Hopefully one day, further down the line, I can experiment with the off grid float home lifestyle. As a water sign and gardener, cook, writer and artist, it sounds like something I'd very much enjoy. I'd also like to meet Mark Hobson someday. I hope he's doing well. His home and paintings are out of this world. Love and light.

Another beautiful illustration of a life, thanks to Dylan and his team. I am an artist, though still far from being able to live on my artwork alone. In seeing this man's example, I find myself left with a sense of peace, like I have been shown something I didn't know I needed to see. Indeed, the life I have been hoping for is possible. What an empowering thought.

What an inspiration and lovely human!!! His energy reminds me of two people who have played important roles artistically in my life, growing up in victoria. Firstly my carpentry teacher, Mr Burger. His passion for students, teaching and craft, motivate me today. And secondly my dear friend Lorne Loomer, who I would have the most wonderful talks with over lunches and he always encouraged my own art. Both have passed away now, so it’s really nice to have such a great reminder of their spirit.

I had such a huge smile on my face while he was talking about making sure to 'deal with' one's passion :) that's exactly what 2021 is about for me...I've been making art all my life, but it has always been pushed to the side, by school, by work. I decided last year it's time to finally make art a priority for real...I bought a cheap little piece of land a few months ago, and currently working on building my first art studio there. I'm incredibly happy that this is happening :) all my artist friends, let's go and make our dreams come true! ;)

Thank you, mr. Mark Hobson. Your passion spoke directly to me. I'm also an artist, constantly going through phases where I would just completely stop drawing/painting for months, questioning if this really is passion and whether should I go for this or just continue my degree. For now, after hearing you talk about passion, I think the possibility that I might have been in worst mental state if I hadn't known how to express myself through my art, was enough reason for me to believe that this really is my passion. Ps. You're a cool person. Love this video.

He's such a nice person. Some people just have that loving energy and it calms you down. Living like this and making art is just a dream come true. I'm an artist too, and lately I can't stand to work for some company again. After 12 years of working for someone it took a toll on me, but on the other hand the burning passion I have for making art will make me to quit everything and make art. I would be happy if I just could make enough money from art to survive, nothing much. Do some of you guys have the same thing going in your life? How does it work for you at the moment?
