If I open mine out I get about 9 mpg. Standard driving is around 23 mpg. But T5R's don't do standard driving. 😂😂😂

For daily rolling my v50 2.4 n/a is giving smiles already. The T5 is another story tho. But the 5cyl n/a is some teasing already 😁 holds me back to drive daily like a maniac 😂 I am having some jdm friends with high power subies and supras. Even they say that, the n/a too, the T5Rs of volvo are giving them the goosebumps. I see them smiling driving my car the same way they are driving theirs. „Well it is not a 3.0Turboed supra, but the supra is not an swedish i5 Turbo😱“ At a car meet there was a V70T5R coming around the corner burbbleling and its little growl just to roll some more meters turned many heads. Most of em smiling. 🤷‍♂️

@@vojtechjanjurecka7285 there you will run into trouble with police, if nothing from your mods is legal in the papers, they take your car and bring it to the tüv for check. Very expensive and you will not have your car back so soon. Germany became an tuning nightmare.

The engine swap needs to be homologated though, and in my country it is compulsory to go on inspection with the exact exhaust line that the donor car used (a complete nonsense as it doesn't fit most of the times). After going on inspection, if you live in small towns or underpopulated places, it is totally possible to disassemble the line and mount the one you like, and then go back to the stock line in order to pass inspection again.

När jag köpte vår 850 på 170 hk kunde jag känna hur fint motorn hördes. Jag är döv men kunde känna det speciella råmandet speciellt från från lågt varv till högre i backe. Bättre ljud har jag inte varit med om sedan. Kör en Skoda och den motorn känner jag inte av. Helt dött är det.

So help me volvo 950 is not correct right, its a 960 right? U did a Motor swap and call it 950?? Is it correct ...I think the engine is From the P26 platform and it´s the 2.5T .... had one too in a V70 loved that car, unfortunatly my block cracked at 290tkm! Next step is a V70R and then I will shim the block for shure.

I swear Volvo has made the best 5 cylinder. Not Audi, not VW, not Merc, definately not Chevy or any other manufacturer I may have missed. Volvo all the way. I'm not just talking about acoustic value either. Check the stats on all of them even the VR5 made by VW doesn't compare and that engine sounds wonderful.

The price is what you can get the parts for if you can weld and cut some wires. More if you need help from someone. Impossible to give a exact number. Yes, nothing has been toughened. All original 🙂
