Thx for the review! I‘ll probably wait for 27“ 4K WOLED. LG Display is supposed to start production at the end of next year. So in two years it could be avaiable. 32“ are to big for my desk and I got so used to 27“ 4K with my Sony Inzone M9. I stick with it. I only do console gaming and office work on the monitor. Also got a LG C1 65“ OLED TV. So I‘m fine. Hopefully 😅

i cant use oled due to PWM oled flicker sensitivity which 10% of people have, the pulse x modulation must not enter the high area in the iee standard for example 240/360hz x 10-20 modulation, until they create 3000+ pwm, or BOE 1920+ then i cant use them due to migraines and eye pain

I have recently purchased the MPG above before I had chance to update it I plugged it straight into my Xbox series x and the I’m pretty sure the HDMI ports were still in pc mode but it let me run the console at 4k 120 HDR I was under the impression I needed to switch it to console mode on the pc first. Anyway I played a few games of fifa and the input lag was fine so I’m not sure. I’ve since updated it to FW11 and it’s now in console mode. Is there any need to keep it in console mode? And also do I need adaptive sync turned on when using it with the Series X?

Hey man, I've been watching a ton of your reviews over the last few days as I'm looking for a new monitor (you're amazing, lol) Currently I'm tending towards the HP 27q as it basically ticks all the boxes (refreshrate, inputlag, image clarity, color accuracy), the only thing I'm worried about is the "low" contrast that comes from an IPS panel. So far I've used a 24" VA from AOC (I think the C24G1), I was quite happy with it though it broke recently. I've never paid attention to VA smearing therefore I'm not sure how bad it was but having the dark blacks was very nice. Now, I haven't found a VA panel yet that really ticks all my boxes (in terms of color accuracy in particular). So, maybe you (as an expert) can give me a bit more input on this, how disappointed am I gonna be by the blacks on an IPS? (I don't generally sit in a pitch black room, so it might not be as noticeable). Do you have a VA recommendation with good colors and image clarity?
@TotallydubbedHD6 ай бұрын
Heya, Thank you, much appreciated, glad you're enjoying the content :) As for the question: that's a hard one to really answer; as it's subjective, but indeed VAs will have MUCH better deep blacks vs IPS panels, as for another recommendation, have you considered this AOC (although this doesn't have good colour accuracy for image editing, but won't be an issue for gaming): kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYfNqnahg6hpnpI

@@TotallydubbedHD yeah, miniled is looking really good. I might just stick to my Mac for Image editing and who knows, maybe one day they'll introduce an srgb clamp through a firmware update. If you say the colors look good for gaming I'll probably give it a shot.
